Keep up on the maintenence- you have a great hotel here in a prime location

Great place to stay- minor issues with upkeep of maintenence- she has her warts- other than that would stay here again.

Beautiful historic mansion with large rooms and bathrooms

I live that it is so roomy and the building itself is beautiful! the room are nicely decorated for the era of the house but if your looking for modern decor it’s best to stick to hotels. we love historic builds so it was great for us!

the breakfast was ok but mostly Aldi brand snacks. which I love for my home but expect a little more when on vacation

I would highly recommend this property.

The staff was very friendly. The property was very quiet. The location was stellar, within walking distance of the beach and the shopping district. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. Parking was easy, even though we left to go out at night.

We were glad we brought a device where we could plug in multiple devices to charge because there were few plugs in the room. The breakfast was just okay.

The location is beautiful, but our stay was uncomfortable.

Beautiful location close to beach and across from beautiful lake.

The room , although had an antique motif, is in need of a facelift. Some items were rusty and the bed boards creaked. There were broken decorations in the hallways . Additionally, if you happen to get a room on the top floor be prepared to carry you luggage up multiple flights of steep steps. It also took the front desk over an hour to address a concern we were having.

Comfortable, quiet, relaxing

Our room was beautiful, comfortable and decorated perfectly. There's a lot of places to eat nearby, the town is just beautiful. We were extremely happy with our stay and will be back!! Thank you so much for the hospitality.

There really isn't anything we didn't like. I guess the shower head could be better? I wish I knew where the ice machine was. There aren't really any downsides. I really had to think to come up with something.

The stay was below average and unfortunately disappointing.

Location is great and we go to Spring Lake beach in the summer a few times a month throughout the summer.

The room was is disappointing and the coach with a cover was dirty. We have eaten at the adjoining restaurant several times over the years which very good. We also always wanted to stay at the Hewitt Wellington but cost in the summer anywhere in the Jersey shore is very high. So we wanted to check it out off season when prices are a little bit more reasonable. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our room and put a little damper on Valentine Day. Also in addition to being disappointed with the room, their continental breakfast has very few selections was and no good and had to eat breakfast after we checked out. We will not be recommending the Hewitt to any of our friends in the future.

Perfect.

We loved our stay. We loved the town and walking to the beach. We would definitely stay at the Hewlett Washington again if in the area. The staff was also so nice.

Pleasant, quiet, scenic hotel.

Quiet, scenic location. Room nicely decorated. Refrigerator a plus. Breakfast was full continental.

Due to Fall temperatures, would have been nice to have a had a throw blanket on the couch. An area program guide with restaurant recommendations and other things to do and see would have been helpful.
