A good, comfortable, clean, stay for weary travelers.

Cookies and cold water urn upon check in. Coffee and tea station. Check in lady was very amiable. Comfortable beds and pillows. Nice hot breakfast.

They were working on the upper floor and the elevator was covered in cardboard. Did not know this till after check in.

Facilities and breakfast were great but the miscommunication about room facilities to booking.com is not ideal.

Nice modern bathroom, very clean. Breakfast was delicious!

I had booked a room for my family of five via booking.com which said it had 3 queen beds in the queen suite. But upon check in we were informed that the room only had two queen beds and they could not put in a roll away because of a fire rule. So we had to have three in a not very big double bed. The receptionist also informed that this happened to another family the night before and because it was booked via booking.com they can’t change the rooms.

Did not meet typical Hampton Inn level of hotel.

Lobby was nice, good location, parking, pets allowed, ease of check in, breakfast included

Our overnight stay was very comfortable! We stay here once a year.

The breakfast was good and enough choices for a quick meal. Rooms are large and comfortable with a nice walk in shower. Good parking!

Rude staff

The night was comfortable.

The room that was assigned was not completed. The staff did not want to do anything for me because I was through a third-party booking. The only thing they did was give us a different room after the room we got had dirty towels on the floor and the beds were not completed. But the staff was rude.

Friendly and helpful staff.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Good location. Nice rooms except for the issues listed below.

Housekeepers use some cleaning solution/air freshener to which I’m allergic. Original freshly cleaned room caused me to cough the whole time. 2nd room gave me a headache. Also, a piece of furniture in both rooms was scuffed and not restrained or replaced giving a shoddy look to an otherwise very nice room.

Superb

Poor support from the front desk when checking in. Had to wait for an hour to check in because booking.com sent you the wrong confirmation notice number, but the front desk didn’t have the intelligence to check the name on the reservation. Had to pay at the desk for a room that was already paid for through, then ending up with 2 charges for the same room by the error was identified. Then got caught up in a no refund squabble when trying to get one of the charges removed.

I have stayed in many Hampton Inns over the years. They are consistently excellent. So was this property at Rawlins. We have a dog-nice well behaved and friendly. I made a mistake by booking this room with Booking.com without asking if there was a pet fee. I did make it clear that I had a dog when I booked the room and when I checked in. At check in I asked what the pet fee was expecting somewhere between 10$-25. I was stunned to hear it was $56! Ok, not a big deal you might say-probably isn’t but it was to me and impacted my rating in this survey. I admit to my mistake of not asking about the pet fee when I booked the room. But Booking.com failed me by not telling me the pet fee when I booked the room. So I give myself and Booking.com a grade of F. As for the Rawlins Hampton Inn, we enjoyed the property and the people but the owner or Manager who set the pet fee pricing gets an F. We won’t be staying there again.

Poor Quality for Price; Don’t Recommend

The beds

we picked this place because of the high rating. I’m he bathroom had like warm water and the toilet handle had to be held down to flush. every time we tried to call the front desk from the room phone it was busy. For $254 per night, I would have expected better. They did offer to move us but we were all unpacked and moved I to our room after a long day of driving. Management claimed they couldn’t send someone in to look at these issues while we were in the room. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clean, a reasonable rate and offered a large room and bath. We were very comfortable.

The hotel offered a hot breakfast along with other options. Was sufficient to get our travel day started.

Elevator makes quite some noise and with rooms that are not very sound proof, that can be annoying if you are a light sleeper
