Great Location. Restraunt on site.
Staff not the best, but they did their job. No elevator to room level, a/c system very noisy. No tissue in room.
Exterior walls stucco coming delaminating. Pizza restraunt has terrible pizza.

Location and old world charm was a big factor for my wife.
Doors to individual units need update but I get the need for authenticity of the age of the hotel.

An updated shower would have been nice. And shower gel, and shampoo and conditioner should be provided.

The location is great and included parking which is hard to find. It was walkable to everything; restaurants, shops, and museums. Just off the square. The rooms were comfortable.
Stairs. We’re a 80 y.o. Couple and could handle the stairs but would have liked to not have to.

Absolutely one of the best places we have ever stayed. Authentic, charming, ambiance amazing and walking distance to everything. Shopping and restaurants are all within a stroll away. We will stay here again. Highly recommended 👌 👍

Our room was spacious with a
comfortable sitting space for an
afternoon read or a drink before dinner.
Fabulous bed!

The location was great and the facilities were wonderful. Great feel and staff very welcoming.
We had no way to adjust the a/c. We wound up sleeping with the windows open, which made me nervous.

We liked the location. Coffee/tea offered in the morning.
Didnt have a working toilet in the room.

The ambience of the little hotel is quintessential santa fe, including how it smells, and is what I have always loved about the city. As well; the connection I feel in this venue to the actual chimayo site is really special.
The coffee provided could be better but I'm really picky about that.

Spacious rooms, friendly staff who are responsive and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace and how they lit it daily for me. so convenient and parking was downstairs. It was centrally located and walkable to great restaurants and museums. I will definitely be back!

The fireplace & location near the plaza area are the two main reasons I chose to stay here.
Unfortunately there were not enough parking spaces in the garage or in the overflow areas in front of the hotel or in the lot in the back when I arrived so I had to use the metered street parking on my first night. It was disappointing that the amenities charge included parking yet the hotel can't actually provide guaranteed parking.

The breakfast was minimal. Only granola bars, clementines and coffee, tea.
The size of the bathroom was quite small in comparison to the rest of the room. It was immaculate, but just small. Also, there could be better lighting over the vanity.

Clean. Beautiful room. Great staff!
Our room did not allow access via elevator and required bringing luggage upstairs and we had ice and snow during our stay.
Did not provide breakfast. only granola bars

You can't beat the location! Walking distance to major sites and shopping. The staff is very friendly & accommodating... bring a lot of tip money because you will always be asking for more water, more towels, more firewood, or to fix something in the room.
Not ADA compliant. Our room was up a flight of stairs - no elevator & no accommodations made. If you have a disability, make sure to ask which room you are assigned!!! The rooms are dated & furniture is well worn (tried to remember that it is a "Historical Hotel"). The first day the lock on the bathroom door broke - locking us OUT of the bathroom. They removed the doorknob then fixed it the next day. The second day the coffee maker broke. They replaced it. Be patience & bring a lot of tip money.

located close to the Plaza and my meeting
added costs. for example the resort fees which was gratuitous in that there were no resort type services at all. just a very nice room

This is a historic property just around the corner from the Plaza so, a great location.
There was coffee and tea and a daily pastry in the lobby for self service. Enough to get you going for the day if you did not want to dine out. Our room also had coffee and tea and a microwave and refrigerator.
The free underground parking was definite plus.
There was a mix up with our room so, they put us in another room and did not charge for the first night. The next day they upgraded us to a Junior Presidential Suite which had a separate bedroom and living area with fireplace. They charged us the same rate as for the room that we originally booked. Mikala was at the desk and was very helpful and immediately contacted the manager to work out the mixup. We feel that they went above and beyond in taking care of the situation. When we checked into our new room there was a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and chocolates with a nice note from the customer service representative. Would definitely stay there again when in Santa Fe.

The staff’s ability to accommodate my request for a very early check-in and assistance in sharing tips on restaurants. Rhiannon was especially helpful !!!
