Clean, affordable, outstanding customer service.

Great location, we were able to park directly in front of our room, interiors were somewhat dated but very clean and in good condition, diner and grocery within walking distance, though I had stated that it was absolutely not a problem, the owner went to the store just to get the coffee creamer that I use and called me to say it was there. Just wow! We would absolutely stay there again if traveling in that area.

Budget motel that is clean and maintained by a professional staff. Good value.

Very basic room, but clean and well-kept. I believe this is a family-owned motel and everyone I've met is professional and pleasant to deal with.

This is how you operate a family-owned, value motel. Bravo!

Very clean both inside and out! Hot shower. Awesome value when you just need a good bed and a clean bathroom for the night. You can tell the family takes pride in their business. Well done!

I wish the doors had the privacy fold over latches like most motel doors. Wallpaper is kind of ugly (my opinion) and bathroom fixtures are dated (they were all in excellent condition, however, and worked perfectly).

Clean, inexpensive place to stay; US Chowder Pot restaurant and Stop & Shop right across the road.

Price was the lowest around the area.

Best Bargain in the Branford Area

The American Inn is very well-located close to Route 95 and directly across the street from a shopping center with a Stop-and-Shop, a liquor store and a diner that's open fairly late, all within walking distance. The rooms are good-sized with a table/desk and two chairs so that two people could work at once if necessary. WiFi is great and there was plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and Raj the manager was available to address any problems or provide extra towels or similar needs. Worth the price and worth a visit.

Superb

It's the little things that make this place so nice. Every light works, the drains are not plugged, the bathroom door closes when the floor towel is on the floor, spotlessly clean, quiet, snow was taken care of. Small little things that make this place great.

I liked the fact there was stores nearby was very quiet

Didn't like the parking people that were staying there didn't have the courtesy to park in front of their door or have the courtesy to park in between their lines the toilet wasn't clean well I always bring my own cleanings supplies to wipe down everything and spray disinfectant

Just what we needed!

The location was perfect as it was five minutes from various restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations. The room was exceptionally clean. The price was very good, especially because it was a simple, clean and quit room.

Good clean room for an inexpensive price.

The young man at the front desk is always welcoming and friendly. Rooms are clean. It's the least expensive place around Branford and it's located nicely across from a diner and Stop & Shop right off of I95.

Place was perfect for a one night stay in the Branford area. It is a basic off the highway motel . When you look at it that wsy, there is nit much nit tol lke about it.

It's all the details that matter. Every thing is good here. Welcome back is a very nice way to be greeted, nice towels, spotless room, the parking was nice for God's sake!

Very basic cheap motel with pleasant exterior.

Would have been perfectly satisfied if had not found short black hairs sticking to both bottom and top sheets on bed. Ugh! Complained in office. Night desk clerk asked if I wanted a new set of sheets. Absolutely! Minor point - nice to have small microwave in room as well as fridge, but nothing to use in microwave, not a mug, not a paper hot cup, not a plate. Asked in office and they were only able to rustle up a small bowl.
