The room had a smoke detector hanging out of the ceiling, low battery, beeping. No towels in room. Property unplowed. Room not secure. Entry door had to be slammed shut, looked like someone tried to pry it open.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff pleasant. Close to Flume Gorge and other attractions.
No Breakfast We picked this place due to price and ratings . Cheaper than most very thing we found in area but like most things still over priced. I felt this way about all the places we stayed old, out dated which was fine if price matched and it didn’t

One of the best spots in town to stay at!
Everything was great.

Very noisy close to road, no lamp in the room only very strong ceiling lighting, no clock and/or radio, kleenex on demand. It's no smoking rooms but chairs and ash trays right outside the rooms under the windows.

This motel was in close proximity to area shopping and restaurants.
The rooms are very small. I paid for an upgrade for a room with a balcony. The "balcony" was merely a three season room with partitions between each room. You could see from one end to the other. There was no privacy if other guests were on the "balcony". And the motel owners were cleaning the next room until 9:00 pm on the last night of my stay.

While the outside has been recently updated. The inside is in dire need of an overhaul. The room was dirty, the shower did not work, and a fresh coat of pain is needed.

The location is perfect. The rooms are easy access.
The floors were so dirty, in the main room and especially the bathroom. It made me think about other "dirt" I couldn't see... Towels weren't replaced on day 2 so I had to go to the office and get fresh ones myself. We always stay here, but this is likely the last time.

rates are very reasonable
the bathroom could have been cleaner, when the heat started dust would fly out of the heater and I had to wipe dead bugs from the tub before showering.

Cleanliness and location

There was nothing good to say about this place. We stayed in room 24 and it was not fit for a dog. It was filthy, mold in the bathroom, flys in the room. Paint peeling off the walls, smoke detector hanging from the ceiling. The ceiling itself had dents and holes in it. The heater was so loud, we could not sleep. The room smelled of smoke. No tissues or alarm clock in the room. We left after the first night. It was seriously not fit for human living. I can't believe the owners would have this room available let alone charge someone for it !!!!! Better rooms are available at Motel 6 for a lot less money. We stayed here about 8 years ago and it was under different ownership, much nicer back then. This place is a dump.

Location
Low value for money. Floor was damaged and room old and run down.
We have been on the road for 4 months from Australia and this was the worst value for money hotel we have stayed in during that time.

Very outdated. Stayed in back lower level room. Terrible. Should make it a janitors closet

This Motel is in a great location and has a great view. It was very clean. A great value for the area. Screened porch was the perfect place to have morning coffee.
Bathroom was a little outdated. I wish there was more space for clothes storage.
