Helpful staff

I reserved the hotel for one night but got stuck in snow and I canceled it after one hour. Although my reservation was non refundable, the manager accepted to refund me back. The reception was also friendly and helpful. Thanks

Location and comfort of the beds

Great staff, horrible hotel!

The breakfast was good, the staff was helpful and nice, and it was a relatively quiet building.

When we got to our room, the first thing we saw when we looked out our window was a guy in the very back of the parking lot with a camera set up on a tripod and he appeared to be doing some sort of creepy surveillance of one or more of the rooms, including ours. We were in a bit of a hurry so I didn’t call to complain about it and he left shortly after we arrived. That was a bit unnerving. Also the hallways were very outdated and stinky, our coffee pot was missing, pool was out of service. This hotel should have been $50 per night, not $100+. I will say though that the only two employees that we saw, the woman that checked us in and the woman at the breakfast, were very nice and hard working.

Superb

Rooms was nice very comfortable.

Breakfast was not great a grab and go was not what we were expecting. Would have been nice to have a shower curtain in the bathroom.

It was okay, not great. Staying in St. Cloud tonight much nicer rooms!

Restaurant was great, Tony was amazing!!

Very friendly staff

There was construction going on while we were there. My daughter was taking a shower to only find a bug in the shower with her. We had one room card that stopped working on our second night which was frustrating. The lobby was very updated but rooms where very dated

It was okay.

Check in person was great. Beds comfortable

Room had lot of dust. Looked like was not rented for a while. Fridge was missing. One of the blackout drap was missing so woke up once sun gets out. . This was disappointing. Checked in at midnight.

The restaurant was very good!! Great staff and good food!

Assigned to room #103 at first, entered that room and found it already had been assigned to another guest. I went back to the front desk & was reassigned room 133 at the back of the property which was fine but the room smelled of sewer from the pool repairs. After sitting for a couple for hours with the window open and the breeze blowing in the room was good for the night. Door "F" was closest to the room and offered easy access to the room. Door :F: had a block of wood keeping it from being shut so moving my luggage in and out was easy. (I think the card reader was damaged).

Felt price was too high for current condition of hotel

Had some unique sets ups. Tv was smaller and mounted in some custom looking wall mount system. No tv stand or dresser like most every other Hotel. Bathroom also had some unique wall mounted towel holding "cabinet". Looks like hotel is doing some updating/repairs to the exterior. Ice machine was broken. Felt the price at $140 a night was high for the condition.

Had to figure out how to make the broken ice machine work. Tv was kinda small. Paint splatter over everything in the bathroom. Tells you maintenance doesn't care or have a lot of time to do work in each room.

Go again

Very comfortable. Clean only thing if Your looking for breakfast you have to go to attched restaurant which is also great. Love the pillows and cozy bed.

Tub needs to have strips I did slip getting in and I'm older so could've been bad

I would say from 1-10 it’s a 5 the washing machine need cleaning as my load of laundry came out with

The room had a smell that was not nice think the carpets need shampooing .room is clean but the smell is bad. Shampoo the carpet for a cleaner room.

The staff were nice and it was right off the highway.

The room was not finished being remodeled and should not have been rented out. The bathroom sink leaked all over the place when we turned it on and the cold water was not available. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk either. When I let the staff know they did not offer a discount or anything just apologized. Not worth $100.

Another good stay

We are living a few hours apart, and we like the location. We may someday move to Albert Lea and this gives us a place to stay when we check out the area. (We're a few years out from retirement) We like the rooms and we like the staff. We also like the attached restaurant as it is really good. We appreciated being able to pay for an extra night although we didn't use it. We wanted to stay until late afternoon and the 11 a.m. checkout time does not allow that. When you are not booked as much please consider a pro-rated rate.

We really wanted to be overlooking the courtyard and not by the parking lot, let alone by the door to the parking lot. it got noisy at times. we asked for the courtyard and didn't get it, yet the motel was pretty empty.
