Fantastic stay in a beautiful old Victorian house above a Thai restaurant - with Thai breakfast built in! We stayed two nights and had two mouth wateringly delicious breakfasts. The hosts went out of their way to be accommodating and you can tell they are genuinely caring and hospitable people.
The rooms were in a different section of the big historic mansion than the restaurant so we couldn't hear any restaurant noises, but we also didn't go during the busy season. Would love to stay here again when we go to Staunton!

Breakfast was included and was amazing (Thai) and dinner was amazing!
the B and B is in a great location and is an old victorian houses, updated for guests. Love all the decor and fun owner and staff. Family owned and you can tell! highly recommend!

Wow wow wow we love Ubon! The house, the food, the experience, and of of course Mrs. Ubon and the whole family, the star of the show!
The place is a mashup of a 175 year-old Victorian house (with all the quirks), upon which is overlaid a pleasantly maximalist Thai home. Within minutes we were all but part of the family, laughing with the residents and even a sister visiting from Thailand. Ubon's energy was immediate, motherly, infectious, and a true delight, and between her and other family members it was unforgettable.
Dinner was from the menu, classic sides and dishes and very well made. The atmosphere of the space was quaint, between a restaurant and living room. The bedroom room was lovely, clean, and comfortable.
Breakfast was far more memorable than most B&B fare, a heaping plate of rice noodles with eggs and vegetables, and a Thai spice tray on the side. Beats eggs and toast any day!
Loved it!

Nice quiet little place. Not fancy, but not a dump either :) The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Parking was disconnected.

The sweet man who owns it, and the server/chef were soo kind. The food (breakfast Thai) was outstanding!! loved it.
It is SUPER run down and dilapidated. Not sure how the building/house ever could pass code. the front porch is falling apart. There are so many Nic-Nacs everywhere you turn. So cluttered- Not only with the decor, but storing cleaning sewing supplies and boxes of stuff everywhere and it’s just a mish-mash of junk everywhere! They need so much help there. it has such good bones inside, it just needs a major over hall of the clutter. It needs vacuumed and cleaned up so badly. all we could do was laugh the entire stay. But the location was GREAT.

Not a chain, rooms had personally and everything worked. The man who checked us in, provided ice/water and served our breakfast and luncheon appetizers was friendly and accommodating. House/inn was lived in and owner/manager is onsite. Flexible check in/out. Lots of interesting things to see as you walk to/from room and restaurant.
Parking, driveway, access to room-lots of stairs-need upgraded walkways, in needs to be restored; while room was clean, there was a lot of personal clutter and sheets were worn through. Biggest disappointment though was after reading reviews and talking to local business owners was that we didn’t get to meet/interact with the vivacious lady cook and hostess. I believe we saw her, but she never greeted us. Breakfast was good-coffee and a traditional chicken and rice soup, but I expected something a little more Thai traditional after seeing others’ review. Restaurant didn’t have most of what was on the menu, but what we had was tasty. Place/restaurant could be so much more.

We enjoyed our stay at this eclectic inn. The Thai breakfast was different from the regular eggs and bacon but was awesome. The place has a great Victorian vibe with a touch of Thai.

The bed was acceptable. Location was good.
Paid for a bed and breakfast. There was no breakfast and no one was available to ask about the breakfast. Tried to hand in the key but no one was available. The sign in the restaurant stated it was "closed today" on both Saturday and Sunday person who checked us in said guests would get breakfast. The room was dusty. The bathroom was not just dated it was circa 1940's. All the floor boards in the room and the stairs up to the room squeaked. Parking was on a sloped surface and was very tight. I would not recommend this property to anyone at the price charged. Maybe $50 at the most. But if you like a very old dated, 2 faucet hot and cold water, squeaky floors, no coffee or breakfast, no staff! go for it! We will not be returning!

THe Thai breakfast was very good, and coffee and orange juice also were available. The staff was
extremely helpful, and the mamagent was very accommodating about a late departure.
I really can't think of anything.

This is a super charming old Victorian B&B a block or two away from the main part of town. Its a really lovely old house, and the owner Ubon is amazingly nice and funny. The room we had was comfortable (note that it has a window unit AC, but it works great), clean, and quiet. The included Thai breakfast was fantastic! I'd definitely come back.
Kind of a confusing entryway/check in process. The main entrance is actually around the back where the restaurant is, we had to call to find someone.

It's a family business, and made us feel like a part of the family. The location is an easy walk to downtown.
Fresh towels each day.

Ubon! Loved how welcoming she is and very happy to make your stay perfect. Our room was comfortable and as you would expect from a grand old victorian B&B. The location is tucked into the historic district of Staunton with shopping and food walking distance from the inn. Breakfast is included and is authentic Thai cuisine. My sister and I have never had it before but we're always open to try new stuff - it's delicious!! I highly recommend it.
I can find no complaints about it.

Loved the breakfast of clear noodles with egg and scallions. Really yummy! The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Ubon is very sweet and a wonderful hostess. Supasa was also very sweet and helpful. The home is like a museum with interesting eclectic artifacts from Ubon's family and history and around the world.
The heater did not heat the room quite enough and there were no extra blankets. Ubon is so sweet I hate to say this but the dinner was mediocre at best. I suspect the meals were mostly frozen entrees. The bathroom in the dining room, just off the kitchen did not have any soap. I don't know if the kitchen staff had another bathroom.
