Beautiful place, super friendly Staff!
4.1
Cute place.
Thought the layout could be improved. Closet space was taken by two unstable shelves. Coffee maker at the bathroom sink. Why?? Minor stuff but could be easily fixed for greater comfort for their guests.

The beds were overall comfortable
We arrived at 6pm within the given check in time (4-9pm) and nobody was on site, this resulted in me needing to turn my phone on (I'm from out of country) and spend $30 to make a call to the sign on the door. The lady on the other end told me I wasn't in her calendar, I had made my reservations over a week ago and even had received an email from the hotel confirming my reservations, she took zero personal responsibility for her mistake and continued to tell me I wasn't in her calendar. After a chat she sent her son to give me a key, who was not the most pleasant, hardly said a word to me and bitterly handed me a key. Next up, the key he gave me was to a dirty room which turned out to be somebody else's room, they just let me walk into another persons room! Now I have to call again because nobody is to be found, after this I finally received a key to an empty room. Given the already high prices of the rooms I'm really disappointed I ended up needing to spent more of my personal money all just to get a room I had already paid and overall didn't end up even feeling safe here knowing they hand out people's room keys - if I had not prepaid for my room I would have left and stayed elsewhere. Also to add in I received one text message asking my name again from the person I called but zero other communication, we never ever even completed a check in form or did they ever try to make this right (I never once saw someone at the check in area either during our stay) which has now resulted in me leaving this review, I personally try to support small local businesses over big chains but regretted it here.

First of this wasn’t a hotel it was a MOTEL to sell it as a hotel is simply false advertisement and I feel taken advantage of. I wouldn’t have paid what I paid for a motel. Second, the toilet was broken when we got to our room and the lady made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal, there was dust all over the floors. Again, had I known this was a MOTEL I would’ve lowered my expectations.
Also the WI-FI signal was terrible I had better luck just using my cell service.

Property owner was very helpful and accomodating. Location to downtown Whitefish just a short 10 minute walk. Close proximity to grocery stores and gas stations.
Hotel dated and double room size poorly represented in website pictures. No pool, exercise facilities, or continental breakfast available. We didn’t feel the value in the $300+ plus we paid per night. We were charged $100 extra ($20 nightly) for a squeaky old rollaway twin cot. Wouldn’t stay here again.

While this is an older facility, it was very clean and comfortable. It is clear the owner takes a great deal of pride in her hotel. Highly recommend the hotel
Ice machine was empty

The room was nice and the beds were nice and comfortable. We were under the impression that there was breakfast but when we got there found out it’s just during high season (July-September). We were there in June. All in all it is a nice place and we would stay there again.

The Room was very Comfortable. There were alot of Pillows and Comfy Blankets. The bed was soft and we both slept well.. The front desk staff was very friendly.

We were able to book last minute when our plans changed & we headed to Glacier National Park a day earlier than we had planned.
It was overpriced for what is essentially an updated Motel 6 style lodging

Adorable!
Could hear the folks above us walking around. Pretty common.

We loved the little hanging swings in front of each room and the rooms and the bathroom were clean. They was a personal touch to the rooms because the amenities like the coffee beans, the soap and shampoo were all hand picked. Not the ones you’d usually find in a hotel room
Breakfast needs improvement.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now! Each room is decorated to be cozy and comfortable just like your bedroom at home. Are stay this last time we reserved the King Suite. It had a king bed, a super cute and comfortable day bed with a trundle twin, and a sofa sleeper. It was so spacious for our family of 5. It had a fire place, table that seated 6, a fridge and microwave and coffee pot.

Beautiful cozy rooms that were very clean.

I did not have the breakfast. Location was great- close enough to downtown Whitefish that the restaurants, bars, and shops were super easy to access (~5 minute drive), and a quick, 30 minute drive to the entrance of Glacier NP. The Chalet was in a quiet location that let you get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy some quiet and privacy.
There was not anything I didn't like! I felt the Chalet was in a great location, comfortable, and had everything I needed to enjoy my trip in Whitefish. Not luxurious by any means but you do not need that when you are in Whitefish!

Roof over my head for the night
The person that checked me in was rude, the room had no phone, lighting in room was bad. Paid way to much for what the website advertised
