Room was clean
Upon walking in the “floor manager” berated my children who were waiting by the door as I instructed them while I threw trash away. She claimed they were by the gaming area. I was literally 10 seconds behind them. She scared them and had no id or badge on. I politely asked who she was since she had no identification on her and looked like a tourist with her purse on her shoulder spouting about South Dakota gaming laws. We did not feel welcomed here. If you don’t want children close to casino equipment put up ropes or a wall or maybe don’t have them at the entrance of your hotel where children will be walking in.

The location for a trip to Deadwood can not be beat. The staff were very friendly. While the building is very old it was all updated and very clean. Great stay with very reasonable cost.

I love the location. stayed here a few months back and loved it. the staff was wonderful.
I requested and paid for a non smoking room. I got a smoking room instead but was too tired to go down to change it because we got in too late. smelled of smoke and bed wasn’t comfortable because you could feel the springs. oh and ac didn’t work.
