Charming Inn in a great location!

A great location within walking distance to town and the water. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were updated and clean. There was a charming balcony on the top floor. And the breakfast was amazing!!

Our room was right below the breakfast area, so starting at 6:45am, it was a bit loud

We can’t wait to stay at The Outlook Inn again; it exceeded every expectation!

The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for our group! It was clean, spacious, and had a nice patio. Also, the made-to-order breakfast at the inn was amazing both days we stayed. On top of this, the location is perfect. You’re in walking distance of downtown Newport.

Exceptional

Location was very convenient, easy walk to shops and dining. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, it was our favorite meal during our stay!

Only downside was that the parking was further away than we expected, not a big deal though since we pretty much walked everywhere.

Absolutely wonderful.

We loved the proximity to everything (shopping/Thames street). It was beautiful, clean, modern furnishings, comfortable beds, friendly/helpful staff, the rooftop/water views deck!

The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was the parking situation, but the staff tries to make it as easy as possible. You unload your belongings at the Inn, then you receive a parking pass to the lot which is about a 5 min walk back. Not really a big deal but might be for those less mobile. There is also on street parking if you can find it (certain times of day easier than other times) but just be sure to look for the street signs regarding tickets/towing. We didn’t mind the parking situation, but it’s good for guests to be aware in case that could be an issue for them. I’m sure it’s on their website and they do explain that before check in.

Exceptional

We loved our stay, the room was immaculately clean and very pretty. The terrace with views over the lovely white church, roofs and the sea at sunset beautiful. The hosts were very heartfelt and the parking not too far away from the house. Besides you can park next to the building when checking in and dropping off the luggage into the room. The parking lot was easy to find because of the detailed explanation from the host and the walk back was short and beautiful because of the very nice location. We traveled through New England for 3 weeks sleeping in 18 different B&B´s but here we got the best breakfast of all of them and were talking and dreaming about it often.

Perfect stay in Newport

We had the 2 bedroom suite and what can I say… everything (and I really mean EVERYTHING) was outstanding. We had our own porch. Beds and bathrooms were really great. Fully cooked breakfast on third floor (great view, outside seating possible) was delicious. Designated parking spot 5 min walk away. (Un)loading in front of hotel possible. Many restaurants and harbor in walking distance. Very nice staff (thanks a lot Tiffany!!!)

We felt comfortable and pampered!

The room seems to be recently renovated. Everything looks brand new and very clean! Renae and Tiffany were very nice and made sure to accommodate my breakfast to my gluten intolerance.

the parking spaces are not in the property but in a church nearby, which it’s not far from the inn but it’s a little annoying when it’s raining

Outlook Inn is a picturesque, modern escape in Newport!

Beautiful inn in a perfect location around the corner from downtown Newport! The innkeepers were gracious hosts, serving delicious breakfast on the roof deck overlooking the harbor. My room was perfectly appointed, comfortable and serene. A perfect solo getaway!

No fault of the inn, but there was construction next door and Newport ordinance seems to allow construction to start quite early in the morning.

Excellent location easy walking distance to a ton of restaurants and shops. Beautiful roof top deck. We enjoyed the sunset one night and breakfast one morning on the deck. Delicious breakfast! Beautiful and modern bedroom and bathroom. very serene. Super friendly staff. We would definitely go back. 😀

We had a lovely time at the Outlook Inn, the rooms where clean and the staff was very nice.

My daughter and I stayed here for 48 hours and the rooms were bright and clean. The innkeeper Rena was so nice and super helpful on what to do in the town. Her smile and personality was a breathe of fresh air. She made a terrific breakfast and was always happy. It made the stay worth while! Highly recommend the top floors looking at the water front.

The parking was 3-4 blocks down spring street, it was okay but we had to walk a lot to get to the car.

The location was convenient to everything! The breakfasts were superb! The service was friendly and wonderful!

The front room (#1) is a little noisy being right on the street.
