Very quaint place

This was easy to find and spa tub was nice .

We had to unplug the spa tub because it would keep turning on. The breakfast wasn’t okay not much as variety.

This Hotel is our first choice whenever we are visiting Oak Harbor.

Friendly and helpful staff, check-in was quick and efficient, plenty of parking space, close to several restaurants, a good location.

We have used this Hotel several times now, there is nothing to dislike here.

Pleasant Served my purpose

Older facility showing signs of age. Clean and reasonably comfortable. Welcoming, helpful, cordial staff Was quiet and had a very nice water feature. Good location close to town and main road and still quiet little or no road noise. Very good internet and basic tv service.

Auld Holland Inn

Love the Dutch theme, it was wonderful. The bed was super comfortable, slept really good. Loved the jetted tub. It was really cute and clean.

It needed some upkeep the carpets were pretty dirty. The TV wasn't working at first, but was told a little trick to get it to work. The jetted tub wouldn't shut off after my husband took a bath. TV probably could be replaced.

Overall very gross and disappointing, not worth the money in any way.

Staff was efficient, but not friendly in any way.

Someone had used the toilet before we checked in and didn’t flush, the bed was dirty, spa tub was disgusting, the whole room smelled like poop. The carpet was disgusting and had holes everywhere, all of the doors were broken and wouldn’t close, wallpaper was peeling off of the wall, curtains were broken, spa facility was broken and smelled very bad.

Not worth it.

The room was decent size and the staff was nice.

It was definitely outdated. Dusty, broken, smoke damaged. When I turned the hot water on in the spa bath it ran brown for a minute. The fake fireplace gave heat but no fire look. The air cooling unit works, somewhat.. but not well enough for someone like me who likes a cold room. Opening the window brought cooler air. Only bad thing was someone below was smoking and I could smell it so had to close the window. For a suite I expected better. Not broken tiles, broken dusty smoke stained curtain blinds, dust bunnies, and a musty smell. Also had a lovely view of a trailer park. Lol I wouldn't stay here again.

Highly unsanitary

I liked the theme, the exterior appears very cozy especially in the evening when the Christmas lights come on.

It was filthy. Dusty filthy carpeting, old walls and a ripped curtain that was yellow from smoke stains. The shower was covered in black mold and the fan didn’t work. It all felt highly unsanitary. Upon checking out, the lady working the front desk gave me a weird dirty look. This place is desperately in need of renovations. It is not nearly as nice as the advertisements shows.

Checked in, then checked out immediately!

It was cute at first sight.

Our room was nothing like the advertised rooms pictured. It looked like it was decorated with mis-matched things at a thrift store.

Anniversary stay

The staff. Outside looks were great. Spa tub. Breakfast was ok.

Good for a quick, last-minute stay!

The staff nicely set up a cot in the room and had it ready when we got there, and they were nice and helpful at check-in. It’s very cute on the outside. The sheets were clean.

The decorations and furnishings inside the rooms were old, dated, and not very comfortable. The red shag carpet had cigarette burns in it and should have been replaced about 20 years ago. Breakfast was “pre-packaged”.

Great option for a one or two night road trip stop over.

We booked in the main section of the motel (Queen room w/ gas fireplace & jacuzzi). The room was very clean with all the amenities required for our stay. Front desk staff at both check-in and check-out were friendly and informative. The complimentary continental breakfast provided a fair assortment of items (eggs, breads, fruits, juices, etc.). All in all, a good stop over for a weekend road trip to Oak Harbor (1.5 miles) and Deception Pass State Park (8 miles).

The motel itself is rather dated, however, this should not deter you as the provided amenities are more than sufficient. We did have an one issue using their Wifi (the signal was too weak in our room to be usable). Otherwise, no other issues encountered.

Exceptional

The outside is as cute as the internet picture. We were there to visit our son and his family who just transferred to Whidey Island NAS. Were treated like their best friends, very clean and comfortable., will return. TV service excellent, has a great selection of stations to watch. Got a good night sleep 😴 Parking in front of room on bottom floor.

Needs more than wastebasket in room. There was a draft under entry door so put a towel at the door and it was fine.

Way too much bleach!

We checked in and got into our room and it was nothing like the pictures. Very cramped And the carpet had stains all over it. Once we walked up the stairs and in the hallway we could smell very strong bleach. We got to our room and it was so strong that we opened the windows hoping that it would air out. After about 10 minutes we thought that it was way too strong to breathe all night And so we went to the check in area and said that we could not stay there because it was way too strong. He gladly refunded us our money. I have passed by this hotel many times and always thought how nice it looked. It may be super clean from all the bleach but it is not a cozy comfortable place at all.

Not as expected

The website

The actual room. Fireplace didn't work. Got moved. Then new room smelled like propane. Dirty room in both when we arrived. You could tell things just weren't cleaned well. Staff was friendly. Manager was some what friendly.
