Location
Power failure all night and the resort didn’t do anything to accomodate
4.3
The facility is old and not maintained very well. The stairway in my building had disintegrated and had been like that for quite some time. The room/apartment was certainly adequate and comfortable but dated. The cost of staying at this facility is high. The restaurant on site was very average. The staff was reserved but friendly.
The staff indicated I had a "Premium View" room, but many other buildings had much better views. My family had another room, and when we were checking in, the staff said I had a premium view room, and the other room was an Ocean View room. What exactly is the difference??
4.3
Perfectly low-key with a spectacular location and amenities. Not fancy but classic, old-school style apartment. We were so pleased to have a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Listening with the ocean and rain at night was so relaxing.
Next time we’ll ask for an ocean facing unit.
4.3
Quiet place for relaxing .
Not many places to eat nearby
4.3
Location right on the beach in wonderful Hanaley, many services and very kind staff. Very clean and convenient apartment

Location, staff, room size, view
Bed (mattress too soft), lack of available shelves/drawers in main bed area
4.3
The restaurant was a huge disappointment 😞 food was not good. Staff not professional. It was a shame, landscape is overgrown, the ocean is the best but can't see it. I could go on and on. But hopefully a Gordon Ramsey show will come and rescue it. 🙏

Location ++++
Falling asleep to the sound of the waves, sunrise from our deck, walks on the beach, swimming….and not having to go back into town for dinner. The restaurant on site has excellent poke & fish tacos.
The premium rooms are worth the money for the spectacular views!
PS no AC but the breeze is lovely and there are fans. Also no TV but you don’t want to be in front of a screen while you’re there!
Felt like we rushed through check in and only learned there is a shuttle service to/from town, restaurants, etc. toward the end of our stay. POSITIVELY everything else was great.
4.3
Staff was amazing: friendly, and helpful.
4.3
great place to truly unplug since the units don’t have tv, phones or ac but it is right on the beachfront and is open and airy perfect place to enjoy the sounds for the island.
4.3
I cooked it so it was great
Nothing

Beautiful!!! Friendly staff, close enough to town but far enough to feel secluded. Close to great beaches!
4.3
Great location and spacious uinits. Very comfortable.
The Internet was off and on. Really not acceptable for accommodations costing this much.
the unit we had needed some touch up and replacing. e. g. the bar was stained.
4.3
the location is like paradise, it’s almost at the end of the road and just feels so special and like an Eden
the rooms need a good deep clean (the salty air gets in and just causes havoc) and renovation for some sound proofing between the downstairs and upstairs units
4.3
We loved the rural and primal vibe of this resort. It was the only time in the trip our family felt like we could really unplug and relax, while listening to the waves crash outside. The customer service is casual, cool, and went over the top to make us feel special and welcome.
Nothing. Know what you are getting yourself into though. This resort is meant to give you an independent experience to feel one with the land and disconnected, not a place for complete service head to foot. The North shore can be wild and rugged, especially in the winter, so as long as that's what you want, you will LOVE this place.
4.3
It’s quiet and serene with beautiful beaches nearby. It’s so dark at night you could see shooting stars on a clear night
when it rains bad it will be hard to get there because of flooding at a crossing
4.3
Location - The view from the room to the ocean is astonishing. Also it is very convenient that hotel is located at the beach and has a beach access. The road to the hotel with hairpin turns and one-lane bridges is a must experience.
Room size and equipment - the room is more like an apartment with all needed kitchen appliances and staff to prep food
The hotel is outdated and has "old" smell
4.3
size of room and beautiful views. on site restaurant was great.
location was tough to get to and far away from variety of restaurants.
4.3
the proximity to the ocean was unreal. the beds were super comfy. The staff were super helpful and friendly. the convenience of a shuttle to take you to places in town was awesome. the proximity to the parks was also spectacular. and last but not least the pool area is beautiful and it feels very private.
I can’t think of anything.
4.3
Quiet. Nicely landscaped. The units are clean and tidy. It is a beautiful location, but it is not possible to swim at this beach because it is rough.
We did not care for our unit which was furthest away from the ocean, and were unable to upgrade without paying another $700 for 3 nights. That seemed very expensive to us. We got no maid service. Other resorts like the Sheraton we were at had maid service several times per day. The breakfast place closed for the week, so we went to HanaLei to eat, and we bought some stuff at grocery store.
4.3
Beautiful, quiet location near the end of the road. Great view of ocean, great apartment accommodations. Nice listening to the ocean at night.
4.3
- the facility has a newly renovated swimming pool and jacuzzi
- it’s in the north side of the island, very close to Hanalei and to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island
- there is no air conditioning
- uber doesn’t go to the property since it’s too far away from the airport so the only option is a rental car
- there is no cleaning during your stay, but fresh towel are available upon request at the reception

The staff were among the friendliest I've encountered in any of my travels - genuinely warm and welcoming. (Special shout out to Sierra who couldn't have given me a nicer introduction!) I loved the decor and comfort of the rooms as well as the onsite coffee shop. The pool house and related facilities were a major bonus. Having a laundry room was useful, and since I had a super late flight out, I appreciated having access to a shower so I could stay in the area and yet have a place to refresh before leaving. Though I didn't end up using it, I loved having the option of using the shuttle. It seemed very convenient!
I can't say that I personally minded this, but I imagine some would want to know that parts of the property are in a minor state of disrepair (e.g. paint on some of the buidlings is peeling, some boards may need replacing), but one can tell they are working on it and the overall appearance is still pleasing.

Incredible location. Can’t beat it.
I was told that they don’t clean the houses. I paid close to $1k per night and online it did. It mention that the house won’t be cleaned. Disappointing.

this was my favorite part of my honeymoon… the staff/management are AMAZING!!!! if I
could go back I would NOW!!! I will return for sure
nothing…. I could stay forever
4.3
Lovely staff, clean and beautiful property. The pool area is a nice place to relax after a long day at the beach. Well equipped unit, with plenty of windows to hear the ocean
4.3
the location is beautiful! near the town and amazing beaches
there is no breakfast or lunch available. The coffee shop only served bagels and cream cheese. For being so remote, there needs to be a little market for basic provisions. There should be a hot breakfast option

Wow, love it here in every way. This is the farthest out you can stay on the North Shore if you’re not in a rental house, and the beachfront location couldn’t be better. My unit (G-2) was 10 feet from the sand, with amazing and unobstructed views of the ocean, Hanalei Bay, and the sunrise every morning. Very comfortable and tropical feeling rooms, and the view from the bed is just as good. It was very clean. I appreciated their unplugged philosophy of no TVs, phones, or AC (not necessary, leave the windows and lanai door open and the ceiling fans on), but the WiFi works well. This is a great secluded place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty, and you’re a short distance from Tunnels and other north shore beaches. (The beach out front is not a swimming beach.). Very friendly and helpful staff - thank you Sierra and Chawake. The pool is attractive, although it’s fenced away at the back of the property. Bottom line, I can’t wait to come back.
Umm…hmm…there’s a coin-op laundry room rather then in-room W/D, but that’s a petty complaint. And you can hang out at the pool while doing laundry.
