Superb

Power was out throughout the area. The previous hotel I had booked would not let me check-in. The staff here were very generous and thoughtful and let me stay, even with the power out. I don't know what I would have done otherwise, there was a raging winter storm and these people took me in. I am really grateful, the other place was willing to let me sleep in my car.

we enjoyed our time in Gold Beach, but next time we will find another hotel at which to stay.

The room was clean, though very sparse - thought it might be as good as Motel 6.

The bed was worse than terrible. Seems to me that the main reason people rent a motel room is to sleep - and when they can't get a good sleep due to a terribly uncomfortable bed, they won't be back. Also, because we have no cell phone, we had to wait around for several hours before we could get the key to our reserved room because the office person was not on the premises and we were not able to call him - there needs to be another option. Clock didn't work.

OK for an overnight stop.

Easy to find. Room was clean, and the bed comfortable. Heating works OK.

The room was fairly sterile, didn’t have even a single picture to brighten it up. No coffee machine!

It was fine. Just so basic for the price.

There was no breakfast, not even coffee, using covid as an excuse. The room was clean and functional, but as bare bones as you can get. Our next night in Coos Bay, for the same price, feels luxurious. We were fine at Motel 101, it was clean and safe and warm. But for the price, it was pretty basic.

Coffee!! Thicker towels. A rug on the floor.

Superb

Rooms very clean with comfortable bed and good pillows. Older motel but rooms have been updated. Great water pressure in shower. Staff very friendly and check in easy.

No issues. Noisy neighbors but not completely unbearable.

Great, clean and comfortable Stay!

The building is old but the updated room was awesome! The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend staying at Motel 101!

No continental breakfast but that may have been due to COVID 19.

Passable

Walk about 1/4 mile to the beach.

Nearby restaurants either weren't open or full. Beach season seemed to be over weekend of 8/21, so locals were rolling up the sidewalks. Not Motel 101's fault, but two women in the next room came home falling down drunk and made a lot of noise till I called the manager.

Great value, clean, and comfortable!

The owner, his wife and elderly mother are the only ones who run and maintain this motel and it's clean, comfortable, and very affordable. Very friendly, accommodating and homey.

No coffee maker.....

pleasant but probably would not stay for an extended time

good price. very clean. nice bathroom. Comfy bed.

If you want value then it works if you want a view and more amenities then stay else where.

The value was okay for the town I guess. It seemed pricey for the place tho. They allowed our small dogs

The hotel had no AC, hair dryer,dresser,hangers, it was older and walls were dirty. Faucets were backwards so my daughter ended up with a cold shower.

Had to call staff to get someone to come for check-in. Appearance is run down. Bedding dingy.

The motel seems to lack the most common upkeep and care

Clean, comfortable bed, friendly owner

The whole room was rough around the edges.dirty areas and scuff marks on the doors,over 20 small holes in the walls along with some scuff marks. No tissue, hair dryer,extra blanket, no breakfast or coffee.

Cheapest hotel in town and everything worked great. One of the best shower heads I've used.

Very disappointing

The fact that it was close to my sister

The room had an odor that made my sinuses burn. Had to open windows and door. Heat only went to 72 degrees and I was cold. Hand prints on the inside of the windows. Electric was shut off at 9am and the host was no where to be found.No one answered the phones either. I spoke to the electrical crew and they said he was aware of the shut off in advance and I was told it would not be restored until 2pm. I was fortunate my sister lived near by so I could get warm and have a shower before traveling again
