Highly recommend for anyone to stay, and owner was so friendly.

We liked that there was a fireplace that we could sit by. The view was beautiful! We liked the privacy and the ambiance. We liked visiting with the owner as well. The breakfast was delicious and healthy.

No heat in the bedroom we stayed in, there was all kinds of heat in the sitting area but not in the bedroom. The weather prevented us from taking full advantage of enjoying the grounds.

Relaxing and just what we needed

The breakfast was fantastic. A great way to start each day. Very well done. The hosts were the best. Thank you for everything.

We did a lot of hiking and at the end of the day the hot tub was available for use. However, it was set way to high and we only used it for about 6 minutes on the 1st day. We were informed that the settings to lower the temperature was not working properly so we did not use it again for the rest of our stay. That was a shame and the only issue we had while being there.

Gorgeous setting

Over looked bay with tall pine trees and running water artificial stream. Host was extremely attentive and accommodating.

Showed some wear and tear but not an issue with us.

Not quite what we expected

This is a single-family home on manicured grounds above the Spokane River. The breakfast was well-prepared but guests are not offered any choices. The innkeeper is very friendly and attentive.

The home was built in 1994 according to the innkeeper but does not appear to have been updated. Furnishings and appointments are tired. The upstairs guest room was a bit cluttered with nick-nacks. There was no in-suite control for the heating/air conditioning. The linens were old and laundered with perfumed detergent. The sitting room could have used a table or desk to write. The location is not convenient to Coeur d'Alene which is a 15-minute drive away. We didn't find any local attractions. The access to the Spokane River is steep and unimproved.

Eric , The owner is amazing. The breakfast was the best. We enjoyed the hot tub. The view was spectacular. The accommodations We're excellent. We never stayed at an B&B before. This is the best place in town to stay. We had the Mallard room "king suite" the bed was comfy. The sitting room had a coffee pot. That Eric prepared for us daily.

If it snowed at least one day. That would if been nice. We did have nice weather. I can't complain

Home away from home

The property is immaculate, the backyard is serene and it overlooks a national park with a beautiful view of the river. We were able to walk down to a beach spot and we sat in little lounge chairs and enjoyed. We stayed in the Rosewood room. It was as if we came home to family and the bed was very comfy. Eric and Roz were amazing hosts and, Eric made a yummy breakfast with fresh picked huckleberries. We even were able to spend time in the hot tub which was lovely, after a fun day of exploring.
