We loved it so much we ended up staying 4 days instead of three. The views are incredible and so many fun activities.. The breakfast is delicious. and changes every day.. Box lunches are delicious and available for purchase. Horseback riding on site. We did the hour and a 1/2 ride in the morning and on another day we did the hour ride in the evening. Both rides were spectacular.. Betsy & Marrcel are great. John & Shawna Lee are awesome, All the staff is amazing. Celeste, Holly, Vanessa, Ana, Amber, and the Chefs!! I also did a beautiful hike with Cooper as the guide. Sorry if I forgot anyone! We will be back!
I couldn't stay longer!

Such a stunning location within easy reach of Phoenix. We didn't expect this oasis of peace to be around a half hour drive from Sky Harbor Airport. The breakfasts were delicious and generous. There's horseback riding and kayaking on the doorstep. The staff are incredibly welcoming and the cabins were delightful. We had a wonderful morning horseback ride with Amber who introduced us to the flora and fauna. If we had stayed another day we would have gone kayaking.
I wish we could have stayed longer to get more out of our visit.

The staff and amenities were wonderful. The lodging and structures are very old, so you must understand that prior to judging the condition of the rooms and main building, but they have been kept up with and in great condition. The rooms have a very nostalgic feel to them which is definitely part of the charm of this place. Loved everything about it.

hot breakfast was good
view of butts was good
location to casino, foundation hills & mesa was good
a/c next to bed--blowing on upper body--hard to sleep
next night turn sheets around so blowing on legs which were covered--worked ok for us.
thanks for a/c --could not image sleeping at night in summer w/o it--but the workers on the dam did it--tough nuts.

The rooms were big and comfortable and you can park your vehicle right outside of your room. The scenery is beautiful

Breakfast was excellent. Wish we could have left tip on room bill. Coffee in room might have been better than waiting till 7:30.

Gorgeous surroundings, awesome staff, simple and humble and peaceful. Great breakfast.
The pillows hurt my neck … would love if they had smaller pillows. Would live the ranch breakfast to be daily.

Location, scenery, wildlife, horses, river and excellent staff
Our bed was very uncomfortable and we could feel springs. Definitely would recommend replacing or adding an overlay.

Great place and great location. Staff was great

This was by far the favorite part of our vacation. The hospitality was outstanding and we loved everything about this beautiful location. We enjoyed swimming and going in the river. The breakfast both days was outstanding. We booked a kayak trip which was a lot of fun for 5 of us from ages 14-70. My mom and daughter went horseback riding at 7am which is the only time it was even remotely not too hot to go. We were honestly sad to leave.
Nothing they could have changed. It was very hot when we were visiting so we couldn't stay in the river cabins but they were more than helpful and moved us to a cabin that would accommodate us and keep us cool.

The location is just breathtaking. My friend and I are photographers, so this was the perfect place for us. We had to work an event when we were there, so we didn’t get to explore that much. Although, from what we did see was phenomenal. Just visit, at least once. You won’t regret it.
The WiFi and the shower pressure were a little rough. But it’s a great trade off. I really have to dig to find a dislike.

This was the most beautiful place I have ever been.
Everything was great!
