Surprisingly Quiet and perfect for a low-key getaway

Absolutely loved the location. Things around close early but it was a perfectly quiet getaway spot for us to celebrate our anniversary. The beds were firm but the linens are soft and we were able to get a great night sleep. Its got to be one the quietest places I’ve stayed as far as noticing other guests (no heavy doors that slam shut or kids running up and down the halls, no people talking loudly or hearing the tv from the next room). The marina and views from the back of the inn are terrific and having an attached bar works great for this place.

There’s not a lot of electrical outlets that worked in our room. It would have been nice to have assigned parking for guests so they didn’t get crowded out by the folks at the bar.

Filthy and will never stay here again!

Perfect location if your planning on taking the Jet Express to the islands.

I didn’t like a lot of things. 1. It’s pretty dirty. Stains on sheets, musty stale cigarette smell, there was a gap in the door, very loud, people up all hours of the night, either partying or arguing. The best worst thing about this place, FLEAS!! Not happy with our stay and will never go back!

Breakfast could be a little more,...a bottle of juice and a warm plate of food would have been awesome. Coffee and danish were appreciated, a little more selection would be great in the future

I love the view on the portage river! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to downtown, resteraunts, and the jet express!!!

It didn't bother us at all, but the room is a little dated, but your not spending a high price.

The view was decent, and the lady that checked us out was friendly. It is close to a couple food places and a few shops. It would be a great place to stay when its not so cold out with it being right on the water. I would stay again for the price if I ever make it back to port clinton

I didn't like the fact that when I checked In the young guy at the desk never spoke but 2 words to me. And I made them very aware that I had an infant and would be bringing a bassinet as they only have rolling beds which he obviously can not sleep on and they put us on the second floor. Their stairs are old and rusted and that is the chance I had to take to get my baby up to the room. There was also hair in the shower from the person before us.

The staff was very friendly. The location is great. And the water view was perfect. (Can't open the window all the way...im sure to prevent accidents)

The bed was super low to the ground and not stable. The bathroom was small. I'm a bigger person so this made it difficult.

Nice room

Our room faced the water and some private docks. Got to see the Jet Express pass by several times as it’s dock is close by. Nice sized room for just two of us. Clean and decent. Let us check in early we got up there too early.

Party town in the parking lot til after 2 am. A large group that was going fishing next day congregated at the room directly below us and was loud all night. Blocked the stairs by our room. Had to turn the ac on high to drown them out.

Where do I start. There was a “big brown water leak on the ceiling that I swear was bulging like it was going to fall down on us at any time. There was “blood?” On the o spring cover. And the young man at the front desk was sitting outside and wouldn’t answer the phone no matter how many times it rang so we walked down and told about the TV not working three times and he informed us it wasn’t his responsibility he only works the front desk!!!!! I won't stay there again.

The wi fi never worked. The cable tv was awful with very few choices, although it did have HGTV and Discovery - the only 2 channels I watched. There was a open air bar next door and the band played till 11:00 on a night I was desperate to get to bed early. You couldn't block out the sound. The people who worked there were nice.
