The view was beautiful and bed was really comfortable

Upon check-in the staff sent us to a room that was under construction which was a little stressful at first, but they kindly made it right and moved us to another ocean front room quickly. We appreciated their helpfulness throughout our stay. The room we were moved to was clean, spacious, and had a gray view of the ocean from the 4th floor.
I realize it was just a misunderstanding with the rooms, but a calmer check-in experience would of been nice. The staff was very nice, but I don’t know why the room wasn’t marked off in their system as under construction so guests wouldn’t be sent there.

Our room was layed out well, and the newly renovated laminate tile floors were great! Ocean view was spectacular and Tonya who checked us in was wonderful as well as the guy we talked to in registration during our stay. And last but not least Brett the GM and his team leaving us a stocking of goodies outside our door Christmas morning!!! So thoughtful and appreciated ☺️
We cannot think of anything we didn't like. Except that we had to leave because our stay was over....

It was on the beach. Bob the night manager personally made sure our room (we had 3 assigned to us before we actually could stay in one) was satisfactory and he gave us some tokens for free drinks for our inconvenience.
Walls are paper thin so I was awaken by everything from a full on fight at in the morning to our neighbor taking a pee that sounded like it was in our bed to people just chatting around our door all and I mean ALL night long. Room service didn't come while we were there so we had to reuse wash rags and towels.

The room was wildly over priced given the quality of the amenities. I've stayed in $80/night hotels that were nicer than this room. For the price I could have stayed in a truly first class hotel on River street and felt like I got my money's worth, that was not the feeling Hotel Tybee left me with.

I loved that the property was close to the ocean and close to the pier and all other fun places.
Everything was good but my husband was upset that he had called and requested our room to be clean multiple times and they didn’t come clean it until our last day there. After a few beach trips sand everywhere is inevitable so we had sand in our sheets and all over the bathtub floor which was annoying. One other thing was that it was really hard to catch the Tiki Bar and pool area open, it seemed like Everytime we would try to go hang out there that it would be closed. We were never able to use the pool facility at the time we wanted to and never got to redeem our free drinks.

The access to the beach was great , the room came with beach chairs and they gave me extra towels and rags, and complimentary tokens for free drinks was my highlight
The room tv had basic cable and no movie channels , parts of the hotel were old or worn down

Hotel was clean! Room and beds were super comfy. Balcony was great
Of course, crossing the public parking area is less to be desired, not a deal breaker though!

It was a great location, practically right on the beach.
There was a significant amount of black mold all over the ceiling, lamps, drapes and the bathroom tub as well.
The balcony door could hardly open. It took some serious effort to slide the door and lock it.
Plumbing was extremely slow. Sink took filled up quickly and took forever to drain.
Furniture and fixtures are severely out of date.

There should have been a better place for smokers. Maybe for the price, they should have a small breakfast.

Absolutely loved the location of the hotel and our room at the hotel. It was obviously on the beach which made the views from the balcony excellent and beach access very easy. The room was a great size for all of our "stuff" so that we weren't falling over each other moving around.
The hotel was showing its age, although renovations were currently under way. The floors had already been done, but the sliding glass doors (ours didn't lock) were difficult to open/close. The elevators were also a bit slow and cumbersome, but nothing was broken. As I said, the hotel was like us humans; we move a little slower and aren't as "shiny" as we age!

The property is way overpriced for a place that is unfinished, dirty, and is behind public beach parking.

The tiki bar was good but out of pineapple juice so he can only make certain drinks but they were good and walking distance to eveything
The wait to check-in was long and then they gave me a room some one was already in but they fixed it and gave me extra tiki tokens for a free drink

VERY disappointed. Our view that we paid extra for was to a very large and busy parking lot!!! I’m the distance was the Ocean. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the linens were rough and not pleasant
