Best location

Did not work TV and lack of cup, etc Should ask if you want to clean your room…it could not room service automatically.

Good motel, but someone sure dropped the ball with these new TVs: dump them and bring the old!!

I have stayed in this particular room before. As usual, it was clean.

1. The gap beneath and around the door needs to be filled: two large beetles snuck into my room after about 10 pm. 2. The TV remote would not work. I first had the desk clerk come look to see whether he could make it work, but he could not. You changed TV models from a Samsung sometime since I last stayed in this room, and the new Vizio is not only smaller, but also has no apparent external controls that can be used if the remote does not work. We could not find those controls. The TV shifted to the Disney+ channel when the mute button was pressed (who, in their right mind, woud want to watch the Disney channel??), and otherwise would not respond to any other buttons but the volume, which did work. I could not turn the TV off wheb I wanted to go to bed without unplugging it. 3. You have also apparently changed cable providers... I noticed that the last time I stayed here several months ago. The new cable TV provider does not have anywhere nearly as wide a selection as the old provider did. Go back to the old provider!! 4. Last time I stayed in this room, the refridgerator worked fine. This time, it didn't work at all. I could not cool my water and thank God I had not brought anything else that needed cooling!

I would not recommend this place.

Location was great, easy to find once I arrived in town, late in the evening. Receptionist at check in was nice.

There were bugs in the room, mainly in the bathroom and kitchen area. It was down played when I advised the staff during check out. The furniture were old and worn. The bugs were able to come in because the door was not properly sealed.

It was close to where I needed to be. fairly quiet.

we had a problem with crickets. I wasn’t offered a different room when the repair that was to be done hadn’t been. Also no access to fitness center - that was only the next door location.

Warning! They took extra money from my account as a mistake. When I booked it I choose for paying at the place it self. So my mom payed with her card, the money was written off at her account but then also an amount was written off my own account trough booking (my creditcard is coupled to my booking account) it took days and many messages to get my money back. There is still a amount on hold and I think it is an deposit? But they can't also really explain me what it is and if it will be written off. Will never book here again.

great value to stay at when visiting Joshua tree, just pack your repellent!

the proximity to downtown 29palms and Joshua Tree national park was great and the hotel was easy to get to.

the door seal in our room was not in great shape, so we had some desert crawlers visit us through the night, which were not a big fan of.

I won't be trying America's Best again.

There was a bed and decent bathroom. It was clean. We didn't get there until 5:30 pm and lady was just finished cleaning the room while we were checking in.

no elevator to 2nd floor and stairs were very steep. 2nd floor walkway between rooms felt very soft like it was not safe. No extra towels and no extras like facial tissues.

Queen beds were fairly comfortable.

Room was old and carpet was dirty. tub faucet ran all the time. I think people live there full time. Pillows were flat.

Room was nicer than I expected. Two burner range and a sink outside of the bathroom.

Walls are paper thin. You can hear the TVs in the rooms next to you, so you can certainly hear people talking. The guy in the room next to me was watching TV all night (I'm not exaggerating, he never slept) and screaming profanities. Staff wasn't able to do anything about it because he was a paying customer and there was no open room to move me too.

Don’t let people stay here, it’s a trap house

I felt the unsafe, there was music blasting in the room next to mine and I went to find staff to switch rooms, there was no staff available, I called and waited at the front for 10 plus minutes. There were people dealing drugs. The room smelled like smoke, we ended up leaving at 8:30 and going to another hotel and they would only refund us half the money. The following day we returned to see if we could get a refund, they gave only half, the young man at the front said that they know about the drug dealing/ drug usage. It is basically a trap house. The smoke detector had been tampered with by previous guests and the room stank like smoke. It was an awful lot experience:/ I really did. It feel safe staying there at all.

The employee was not friendly. We booked the room for 4 people, but there were only 2 towels in the room. We asked the employee to get 2 more towels, she was reluctant and finally we didn’t get the towels.

OK place to stay.

They did not offer a breakfast other than an over priced menu in a small coffee shop in office.

A continental breakfast would of been nice. The heater/AC unit was extremely loud. Too loud to sleep with it on. This was in room 106.

THE HOTEL ITSELF WAS OKAY, BUT VERY IFFY CLIENTELE AND VERY HIGH NOISE LEVEL

LOCATION WAS GREAT..FRONT DESK CLERK WAS GREAT, HAD MICROWAVE AND FRIG

VERY NOISY HOTEL AND HAD A COUPLE OF BUGS CRAWLING ON THE BED WHEN I WOKE UP DURING THE NIGHT. EVERYTIME SOMEBODY USED THE TOILET OR SHOWER IT WAS VERY NOISY
