Gorgeous lodge with the most beautiful surrounds. Staff were very friendly, especially the GM, Thomas. Our pond side cabin where you could hear the running waters of the creek. Do not book anywhere else.

The location was amazing.
The staff were absent, difficult to find. There were crumbs on the floor of the room and chips or something on the floor when we made up the pull out sofa,. There was old/dried food on the deck which obviously hadn’t been swept in a while.

The room was beautiful! Big and roomy! Loved the fireplace. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. Loved the outside back porch area overlooking the backyard grounds which are amazing. The river running through the back area— absolutely stunning!
The breakfast was delicious! Great staff!!!

The new bathroom.
The hot tub wasn't open when it was supposed to be.

The rooms are big, we had a fireplace and a jacuzzi in our room. Large outdoor deck too.
Nothing... All good

The dinner was just wonderful!!
The bed was comfy.
The walkways were not cleared of ice or snow, very slippery.
Our room had 2 queen beds but no sitting chairs to sit and read. If we wanted to relax and read, we had to sit on the bed. Not comfortable.
Our room was nice but for the price we paid it did not meet our expectations. Would not stay in this room again.

The service was excellent, everyone was very friendly and quick to assist with anything. The view was lovely and dinner was amazing.
The layout of our suite was a bit cramped. Two rooms with beds, no real lounge space inside other than the beds and one chair. Not sure I'd want that for a stay of more than one night. There are probably bigger suites most likely at a higher price point, but we only stayed the one night.

Beautiful area. Loved fireplace in bedroom! Nice staff. Good, warm breakfast.
Would have been helpful to know No soda or water for sale there. Restaurant & Bar closed until 4. Had to drive 20 minutes to get a drink, but it was a Beautiful drive. Dinner was expensive & unusual menu for us. Duck/elk. We ate elsewhere.

Amazing property on the river. Easy on/off access from the highway. Very clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and breakfast was great.
found out when we arrived that the restaurant
Was closed for a private party. We partially booked this resort because of the access to the restaurant for our elderly family member. We drove up a few miles and brought pizza back -
So it all worked out. It was sort of like booking a motel with a pool for the kids - only to find out when you get there that the pool is closed for a private party. It all turned out fine - just sort of a bummer. Also - bring your own kindling if you want to use the awesome fireplace.

did not have the breakfast
Bed was to soft
they could add some sitting chairs to the room
my reservation had a $40 per person food allowance for dinner, they messed that up big time, we did not get it

location next to river
fridge didn’t work and bathroom light was broken causing on and off strobe light all night. asked to be fixed 3 times and was told someone would fix but the person never showed.

The grounds were very well kept.
The hot tub wasn’t working because a new one is being put in but we should have been notified and therefore there was nothing to do at the ranch. Corn hole or horse shoes would have been nice. Also the trail behind the ranch is totally overgrown. The rooms were not ready at check in.

The room totally fresh new, the bed so comfortable. Breakfast is very good.

great location.
website was deceiving. no activities at hotel. no hot tub/pool. construction was being done while we were there. room service was only upon request. downgraded to a lower level room without any discussion.

The room was great but could tell we were early in the season.
We were informed in advanced of construction and that didn’t affect the room itself but access to the room and the property itself. Breakfast was ok but we went about 30 min before it ended and things like plates and napkins weren’t available. The staff did bring what was needed, but, again, seemed like they weren’t quite ready for the season (we visited the Friday before Members Day). For what I paid, I expected a considerable better experience.

This place was great, breakfast every morning and it was perfect. Variety each day. Coffee was so good I already miss it. We traveled with our dog and out back was a trail to hike each day. He chased the elk every morning and was excited to go multiple times per day (older dog so it was nice to see new energy). The staff went above and beyond. After hours we realized our pull out sofa did not have bedding. Called and text the after hour number and within 30 minutes a staffer arrived with bedding. He had to come back to the ranch as he had gone home. In this day and age every business seems to be short staffed. This place did its best to accommodate. We will definitely be back!
I did not like the fact that the next weekend was booked as we wanted to come back but that was a good thing for the Rainbow Ranch to be full!

I liked the fireplace in the room and the main reception building. Wild Caddis is a good restaurant, compliments to the chef. Great steak!
Staffing levels need to be increased. The staff were nice and did their best, but they were clearly understaffed.

Breakfast, location of hotel. Private. Quiet
Rooms were older and not as clean as expected

Beautiful scenery and outdoor sitting area. Lobby was beautiful. Free breakfast was good.
I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The floor looked like it hadn’t been swept in ages, and the ceiling fan was so dusty I was afraid to turn it on. The bed was so hard it felt like sleeping on a board and had a plastic cover, so I kept waking up sweating. I was really excited to make a cup of coffee in my room in the morning but the coffee maker was so disgusting I didn’t dare.

The grounds of property are beautiful.
We checked into our room and when we entered it the room smelled of sewerage. Went to find housekeeping and was told this was happening for the past 3 days and the hotel was told about problem and we were stilled put into the room. Unbelievable!! Why they wouldn’t call us before and tell us they were experiencing a problem and find us alternate lodging is beyond me. Forget the smell but I’m sure sleeping in a room, that has a sewerage problem, is not the best for my health. Very disappointed how this was handled. Also, we had made a reservation through open table for their restaurant and was told when we were there that it is closed. We were able to get a room in a nearby motel, but we would never book this for ourselves. Was a workers motel. Every morning at 6am all diesel trucks were started. Anyway, after the debacle at Rainbow Lodge, they did refund all monies that was paid in advance for their lodging and picked up bill for motel.

Property was very pretty nestled along the Gallatin river with the mountains in the background.
Room was cute with a fireplace that overlooked the stream.
One of the employees Jo, was very helpful when we arrived. Set up games on the pretty lawn for us as we had a lunch we brought on the upper deck. She even helped my husband learn to fly -fish-no luck though
Breakfast which was included in the price was plentiful and very good.
We were disappointed that the bar snd restaurant in which we had a reservation was closed when we arrived.
Room smelled from fireplace but you got use to it.

The room was nice and large but needs some updating. Love the view and beautiful property.
It needs some updating. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. Needs better sheets and pillowcases

Bed was too soft.

Their restaurant has got to be one of the very best in Montana. The wine list is exceptional.
