I would love to visit again; perhaps a little earlier in the year.

Proximity to the ocean front!!! Fabulous. Very clean, well maintained space.

I was there in the middle of a beautiful September; very sorry to see ugly Halloween decorations (already) taking away from the beautiful setting. One doesn’t expect to see ugliness like that in such a lovely hotel. If it didn’t take away from my overall experience it certainly didn’t enhance it. Do also think that was a vacuum cleaner in the hall that wakened me before dawn one morning…. ?

Room with a view

The view of the Hudson River was a key feature of staying at this location. I am a water person. Lakes, rivers, or oceans are always a plus with me.

Don't blink or you will miss the entrance.

A wonderful stay

The room was clean, inviting and comfortable. The ocean view from our two windows was beautiful.

I wouldn't change a thing.

We enjoyed our stay even though it was November in New England!

The ocean views and the convenience of the on site restaurant.

The missing privacy shade in the bathroom window and the loudness of the bathroom fan. We had to try to hang towels and such to block the view into the bathroom.

Not up to my sandards.

There was nothing but granola bars and coffee.

There was not comp. breakfast. We walked up 3 flights of stairs at over 70 yrs. old with suitcases. The bathroom was tiny. The AC was very loud. Needs service.

Don't think we will be booking a room there again.

Breakfast was just coffee and fruit and snack bars which was fine.

Are room when I booked the room it was for the union bluff hotel with a king bed with ocean view with shared balcony. Instead we were booked in the Meetinghouse hotel with a king bed with barley a view of the ocean. I feel we were mislead into what we were paying for.

The hotel met our expectations very well.

Room was clean! View of ocean great! Staff very helpful! Food in restaurant delicious! Location was perfect! Breakfast choices were surprisingly many!

The heater was very noisy. We shut it off second night but had an extra blanket. Railing on balcony just wrong height to see the ocean. Wish it were plexiglass or the chairs were higher. Couldn't see the waves without standing.

Just what this girl needed !!!!

The woman at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. My room was so cozy. It was very quiet. The clam chowder from the Pub was the best I've ever had!! The only thing that made me a tiny bit unhappy was that I couldn't get the wifi to work on my laptop.

My stay was peaceful, relaxing, and just the recharge that I was looking for out of this trip.

Union Bluff is a lovely, historic hotel in a great location. The staff was friendly & accommodating. It was also really convenient to have a restaurant & pub/grill onsite. My room was located in the annex building & I found it to be quiet & comfortable. And the view of Short Sands Beach from the (shared) balcony was just incredible! I woke up early every morning just to catch the sunrise. I'm so glad I decided to stay at York Beach which, at the time I visited, was peaceful & not super crowded compared to some of the other port towns I visited during my trip.

The included breakfast was a little underwhelming. As it was served in the lovely little restaurant inside the hotel, I expected a decent spread, at least some eggs & sausage/bacon perhaps. But it consisted of no hot food, mainly just breads (bagels & English muffins), cereal, & a small selection of fruit.

I liked the convenience near the town and sitting by the water. Wish they would bring back the fire tables outside in the fall.
