The breakfast was great and the welcome drink is a nice added touch!
Loved the spa/ bath and the bed was excellent! So comfortable and nice decor!
Could do without the 2 am train whistle that woke us straight out of bed and maybe add what rooms aren’t part of the original house. Nothing that would keep me from booking again though!
4.6
Loved the history and ambience and it wasn’t crowded
The AC didn’t keep it cool enough

The location was very convenient to all of the local beaches. The staff was very friendly, and the beds were VERY comfortable. I also really loved the historical feel of the property. I’d definitely stay here again.
Nothing really, everything was excellent!
4.6
Location was convenient to downtown restaurants.
Very loud traffic all night due to proximity (near I-10). So…just take something to cover your ears if you are sensitive to loud traffic overnight.
4.6
Excellent location: within walking distance to downtown attractions. Surprisingly very quiet and safe. Beautiful architecture and full of character. Very historic and charming. Free street parking. Room was spotlessly clean. Super comfortable bed. Breakfast included at bistro across the street. Excellent value.
Only complaint is the receptionist at check in was not very friendly and did not give any information about the hotel or the breakfast set up. We had to figure out everything on our own from the materials in the room. It would have been nice to get some information or enthusiasm considering it’s such a historic hotel. She did not make us feel welcome.

Very quiet place near the center of the City.

The breakfast is good with nice service. It is safe and all the historic areas are within walking distance. Very nicely managed.
It locates by the highway and is noisy all night.

Good staff.breakfast at next door restaurant was very good.nice quiet street right off the freeway

Very good location. could easily walk to downtown. Quiet room except for ability to hear people in next room talking as it was an adjoining room via a door. Hotel was surrounded by historical buildings with brick streets and lots of shade trees. Nice restaurant as a part of the Inn.

This is a unique facility--self described as a boutique hotel. Interesting place to stay in downtown Mobile. Lots of restaurants and attractions nearby.

The breakfast was awesome

There are two employees who should probably be put in charge of this place. They are Sheldon and Jordan. They displayed southern hospitality and had an idea how to run a customer friendly business. The location was central to where I wanted to visit, but the actual location in the middle of basically a traffic island was a negative.
This place appears to be run by Carpetbaggers. That term you will have to look up. Upon entering the door to inquire upon my reservation, we were confronted as though we were lost and not greeted as potential guests. I was then asked to pay the remainder for my stay. We were then given cards to be used as tokens for our breakfasts. Nearly every day, the first comments at breakfast were to ask for my breakfast card and not to greet us friendly. This bed and breakfast is in the deepest south of Alabama that is famous for southern hospitality. Unfortunately, with the exceptions of Sheldon and Jordan, there is no hospitality in this place. The focus is money first and guest as an afterthought. I will commend also the cleaning staff. The room was well kept up. The room however was so loud that we could hear people clearly talking on the street below us and all windows and doors were closed. The sound of traffic was deafening and made sleep difficult. The bed was softer than the hard pillows. Sleeping was difficult in the bed. The tub was so small, one could not lay down it in at all. Breakfast was middle of the road but good for USA standards. Garlic on the breakfast potatoes and breakfast grits is not a typical southern thing. A lot of money has been poured into this place to renovate it, but looks cannot improve something that is internally broke. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels and bed and breakfast accommodations all over the world, I can only rate this one as so so and do not recommend it. The staff needs retrained or fired except for the ones I mentioned. My bet is Sheldon can bring the place up to standard if given the chance. Not one of the women employees I met had any southern manners. They were all money first. This totally turned me off about this place. I like to be treated like a guest and not a money dispensing machine. Also, breakfast hours are way too late. Starting at 8:00 eliminates any chance to do anything early.

I was told that the Breakfast would cost me $15 each and refused to pay!!!!!!!
I arrived at the hotel at !:30 and was told that the room was ready but it would cost me $50 to check- in early. My wife sat in the lobby until it was 3 pm before they would allow us to check-in. The room was okay but small. They had a tub shower, the shower part did not work, and it was very hard to get into and out of. We were on the first floor and could hear the people on the second floor above us walking in their room all night. Ice was not available.

Breakfast and dinner were fabulous. Great food, and service.
Beautiful and quiet location with so much history

The location was close to downtown but very quiet. We could walk to several attractions and restaurants. We ate breakfast each morning at the Fort Conde Inn's restaurant. The food was amazing! We actually looked forward to breakfast each day. The courtyard was nice and the parking was convenient. Our room was great. There was a small kitchen area with a nice sized refrigerator. The room included a rolling desk and a very comfortable chair, too. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Mobile again.
Nothing. It is a great place to stay.

No major traffic and welcoming congeniality from Hannah.
Floorboards in bathroom were dirty and bathroom was ice cold during cold snap. Additionally, one wash cloth seemed dirty and another one had long red hair embedded in the fibers

Bed was comfortable.
Elevator was broken. We were on the top floor.
Restaurant was not available on Friday evening, not even room service or bar. Due to a rehearsal dinner. Fine but we were not told and had to make other plans last minute.
No bottled water was available, even after 2 requests.
Bathroom floor was sticky. I cleaned it!
Had to request a 2nd coffee mug, only 1 in room.
No water glasses were available either.
Nice Hotel, breakfast was okay, would have preferred the main menu with a credit towards food. The breakfast offered was limited and average compared to the main menu.

Toilet leaked.

Close to cruise ship and anything else you would want to do or need. Beautiful historic place and very clean. Stayed in a cottage on this visit and was very roomy and just what we needed. Bistro on property was great for breakfast
nothing we didn’t like!

Quaint. Great style. Walking distance to a good area and 3 min by foot to the cruise terminal. Great balconies.
Shows a pool...no pool yet. The elevator was out of service. That's all.
