Usually I love staying at the FourSeasons and the restaurant is usually on point. Pool is nice, staff is very friendly.
On this particular visit we ate dinner at the restaurant and I ordered a $150 fry aged steak which I was excited about. Being a chef for 20 years I always love a hood steak. What ruined it for me was the steak was cut in the kitchen and plastered up to sit in the window and die. It came out cold with no juices left in it. For the price we paid I was very disappointed. Had I known they cut up your steak for you I would have asked them not to but it was too late and I ate a cold sliced dry piece of beef for $150. Next time please let me cut my steak that I paid $150 for. Thanks

the location of the hotel was fine, there were a wide variety of restaurants near it
I have been to several four seasons resorts, but this particularly didn’t engage the standards of a “Four Seasons” hotel. However, the concierge was even worse. I booked a car for one day through the concierge, the price of it was $400, but was charged $4300 in 3 splits over the course of the day without being informed. Moreover the service provided to me by it was not up to this chains standards; none of the staff of the concierge had any knowledge on restaurants or locations me and my family could visit, in fact we were the ones asking them if certain restaurants were good, they didn’t even provide one suggestion. I was truest disappointed by my stay

To make a long story short, the Four Seasons in Denver is a real disappointment.
For one thing, they never get tired of telling you how strict their covid measures are. However, when you arrive, on the one hand, no one in valet parking has a mask on and the entire lobby is full of jolting and partying guests, all without masks. Nothing is enforced.
Then the service is more than lousy:
a) Upon arrival, you are asked if you might need help with your luggage. Sorry, but for $ 1'000 a night I don't want to be asked but it is a matter of course that the luggage is brought to the room immediately.
b) Complimentary water bottle is missing in the room because it was forgotten. For this, the water from the minibar is then charged with $ 8. It is simply ridiculous that you have to pay for non-alcoholic drinks in the room. Never experienced something like this.
c) If you want to eat a snack or a burger in the bar, you have to wait at lesat 40 minutes until the food is served. And of course the food is cold, because it has been sitting around for 20 minutes because of a lousy service.
Then I prefer to pay $ 1'500.- to $ 2'000.- per night in a luxury hotel with a top service instead of $ 1'000.- per night like in the Four Seasons with all the surcharges and the lousy service.
Sorry, once and never again.
