I love La Quinta but I would never stay at this one ever again. For the price and everything we had to deal with there’s

The location was the only thing good about this place. I never leave bad reviews but I don’t want people to go through the same thing I did.

My husband and I stayed here for three days and everything you can think of went wrong. All the electric was connected to where if you turned off the main light it would turn off the tv and everything else. So we had to sleep with the lights on. The ac had trouble staying on and keeping the room cooled. The bathtub had paint peeling off all over it. The fridge setting would only stay on freezer. We tried communicating with the front desk but they were no help. On top of all that I paid before I arrived through booking and when we checked in she took my card to verify it was the same card and charged me again, it took three weeks to resolve the issue and get our money back.

Great except for our check in experience.

Staff when we checked very tacky and hateful. I just ask for close to Elevater(which I ask for when I made reservation). Lady was very disrespectful.

I booked through Booking app and did not read the disclaimer about cancellation policy. Our travel plans changed and I tried to cancel thru booking and the hotel. It was a “no” and “no”. Buyers beware! Read the policies.

Great location and the rooms were ckean

We stayed from Thursday- Monday. Housekeeping did not visit our room to clean or bring new towels- very disappointed Breakfast needs more choices- maybe come eggs

Overall a great hotel I would visit again.

Extremely nice!

Didn’t notice until I arrived but the beds were double, not queen sized. I also noticed the comforter looked like it hadn’t been washed but I don’t use those anyways. The sheets and pillows were spotless though.

If the elevator and door key worked properly our stay would have been much more enjoyable.

Clean property, dog friendly, comfy beds and helpful staff. Great location.

We had issues with card key for door to room. Over our stay requested 12 different cards to get entry into room. They replaced battery in the door for us. Still an issues to get inside room. We were on the 4th floor and elevator was not working. So every time we needed a new room key to get inside our room; had to walk down 4 flights of stairs. We were traveling with pets; so every time we needed to take them outside we had to walk down 4 flights of stairs.

This La Quinta was a decent hotel in Norman if you need a place to stay, but don't expect too much.

Things that I liked about this hotel was the price to stay as well as the location/proximity to different things. The hotel was also very clean and the lobby had plenty of space for breakfast in the morning and there were a fair amount of options (only hard-boiled eggs though).

The air conditioner in our room was incredibly noisy (loud fan, rattling coming from the inside). Thankfully since it was cold outside it did not need to be on much. Both exterior doors on the exterior did not have functioning keycard slots (tried multiple cards including my parents') so we had to walk all the way around to the front.

It was a great price and great location for our visit to OU.

Same average stay as the last time but with different problems

I stayed her on a return trip from Austin a few days after my first stay and so nothing really changed from my last review. The breakfast options were good and the hotel was very clean. There as spacious parking around the hotel that was well lit.

My biggest complaint with this stay was that I booked a deluxe king suite through Booking.com and when I arrived at the hotel they only gave me a king room and all deluxe suites were full. Clearly there is a disconnect and nothing was done by either booking.com or La Quinta to rectify it. The keycard readers still did not work on the exterior doors and the 1st floor ice make was broken.

Not worth your money

It was convenient for what we were doing in Norman ok

Trash left in room, dirty towels. Also, back door entrance rarely worked to let you in. The breakfast was lackluster and I don’t think they changed the oranges out of the “infused water” station the whole time we were there. Will not return.

meh.

the room layout is nice.

the staff didn’t seem to have a good pulse on the property. the elevator to the fourth floor worked going up, but using it to go down was impossible - the outlets were pulled out of the wall, and the staff had no clue. the hallways are dark and bit uninviting. also, my phone inside the room was not working- no dial tone. overall a super weird environment, but served it’s purpose for one overnight stay.

It was good overall because of location and quiet

The location was great to get to everything

People at front desk were not very friendly. Felt as if they were doing me a favor to check in and check out. Breakfast was ok but not what I expected for a hot breakfast. Breakfast Station was too spread out. Three different areas to get waffles at one area, juice and toast in another and coffee in the hallway area. People with plastic bags sitting in hallway on the floor
