Our room was right off the lobby.
The fact that they had a hostage with a gun situation but did not communicate anything with guests. All we heard was screaming and yelling, my husband went to see what was going on and there were cops everywhere. It REEKED like marijuana and most definitely housed squatters.

The room had plenty of space
The inside was disgusting there is broken glass everywhere on the ground, random stains all over the floors in the halls. The pool had way too much chlorine in it. The rooms stink so bad. couldn’t open the windows at all. Couldn’t use the heater because it smelled like gasoline.

Siempre hay agua caliente
Todo el personal es venezolano, ellos atienden muy mal y se referían a la gente de "animales"
Se pelean y se gritan entre ellos.
Son muy despectivos.

The beds are fulls, not queens. There was a roach in our room. And a hooker in the room next to us

Location
It was run down. The kitchen was unusable. The carpets were dirty and the walls needed paint. The facility itself is in poor condition.

Closeness to interstate
Was very dirty. Very run down. A lot of drug users milling around and staying in the hotel. Felt unsafe after dark.

I expected better for LaQuinta, it was like they slathered white paint on an ugly old motel. It was dirty, they gave us the keys to someone else's room first, there was a gunshot outside the window as we were going to bed, the carpets were stained and ripped, there was black stuff all over the shower curtain. I will never stay there again.

I did not like nothing at all!!
Very rude and bad staff at lobby while checking inn and checking out. They had a problem with my reservation and did not have any rooms for me. When they finally got me one I had to pay extra. Also I never received my "100 dlls. Deposit " back
Very disappointed with this hotel in particular. Lots of noise going on all night long.

room, service, free breakfast, friendliness were the most I like. I like that we could chat with the workers and they are much help.
Room service because we didn't have to tell them to come clean. Also slight needing repair of bath tub and late in fixing.

Price was right, bed was comfy, and location was perfect.
The showerhead is made for short people. :) As I am 6 foot tall, there are a lot of older motels and hotels that are the same. I just wish they all were taller as there is plenty of room above where the showerhead could have been installed.

Can’t believe the rating for this hotel, disgusting and beyond filthy, actually left the hotel and went to another, you should remove from booking.com
Filthy, rundown, doors locked like chewed on, smelled, carpets filthy!

After a good stay in La Quinta Des Moines we decided on this one in SLC. Old hotel with very poor soundproofing.
One could hear clearly adjoining room conversations and plumbing which can get you a few sleep interuptions.

This was the grossest hotel ive ever stayed at. There were people living there. The room smelled like mold and felt like a steam room. The windows were dripping with moisture upon our arrival.

Nothing, we normally stay at this location, but it has gone to crap!
The room they gave us had a foul odor, the toilet backed up like someone had used it before we got there. There was no TV remote, the lights were all unplugged, had to move furniture to plug them in. We asked to be moved to another room, they gave us an upstairs room (NO elevator) even though I let them know I have walking aids (cane/wheelchair) but they said they had nothing else. This next room had a huge crack in the side of the bathroom door, enough so our son got stuck in the bathroom, had to push/pull to get it open! That was not the worst of it, transients/homeless people got into the bldg and were sitting at the top of the staircase landing, eating, lounging around with their dog! And homeless people were all around the business, especially towards the rear of the bldg by the swimming pool! I well never stay there again, and definitely don't recommend it at all! We used to stay here frequently, but not ever again!!!

We have spent many days with this facility. The person who seemed to be in charge was inconsiderate and flat out mean. She is one of the worst people I have ever met. I feel really sorry for the employees. I will never step foot in this building. I highly recommend you don't either.
