I liked the location and the idea of the room and the size.
It was disgusting how the bedding doesn’t get changed. It was dirty, and the room smelt like cigarettes. Definitely not worth what I paid for it. Was utterly disappointed.

The facility itself was really nice. If I did not have such a horrible experience there I would stay there again.
I have used booking to reserve this hotel room and used PayPal. It has been a complete nightmare. I have been charged twice. I have this hotel saying booking owes me money while booking says the hotel owes me money. This has been completely ridiculous how either company is taking any responsibility in resolving the issue.

location
broken door parts and locks, cleanliness of the room, breakfast choices, not everyday housekeeping, stains on towels
3.5 / 5.0
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good but more variety would have been nice. Hardly saw any staff people, but what minimal interaction we had (check-in and check-out) was fine.
The pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance when we checked in, which we were not aware of. We picked this hotel because it is the only one in Long Lake, where we were visiting friends, but had we known the pool was closed, we would have booked someplace down the road a bit. When we expressed our disappointment, the front desk staff were not very apologetic at all. Also, the price was the highest of any hotel we stayed at on our road trip, and considering we couldn't use the pool or hot tub, I feel we overpaid.

Breakfast was just ok.
Comfy Chairs in the lobby and pool were nice amenities
They had not put shampoo in the room and I had to ask for it. Took a bit to locate some.
The breakfast food was mediocre. The fruit was not very fresh.

I liked that it was only 25 minutes away from the MSP airport…
Found candy wrappers in one of the drawers.
There were yellow stains on our sheets.
Didn’t smell very appealing.
Air conditioning didn’t smell very good either.

Location was convenient for the next morning destination.
The room smelled very stuffy, humid, and not aired out.

The only thing I liked about the hotel was that it was 5 miles from our friends house.
Breakfast was nothing to talk about. We had to pay to go swimming. Over paid for the room. Paid 40 dollars extra to have a pet stay with us. No place to bring the dog outside to go potty. We did find a park 2 miles down the street to let him run around in. Not sure if the towels were clean or not. Kept finding long black hairs on them. (I have blonde hair.) Sleeping at night you could hear everything going on. (Next room was rather noises all night long.)

king suite was nice and spacious and the jacuzzi was quite nice.
it could have been cleaner, it wasn’t bad but could have been better, also the doors were open and anyone could just walk in, the other doors lock did not work. so that made us nervous. also the room wasn’t worth the price that it was.
