Horrible and was refused a refund

Very nasty dirty pool

The staff most specifically the woman that works front desk very rude attitude for no reason lied when asked for supervisor refused a refund

Worth the Price.

(I am not super picky about hotels.) The actual room was pretty nice (for the price i paid). A couple of the staff members were really nice. You get what you paid for. The free breakfast was also a bonus. I would stay again for the price.

The exterior was pretty iffy. The wood on our room door was flaking apart and the stairs were rusty and concrete was cracking up. There were also a few people outside the hotel smoking weed and what not. Also, one of our lightbulbs in our room did not work. One of the bedside lamp’s charging port did not work.

The location was convenient but I will not be staying in this hotel again.

It was in a convenient location.

It was loud, a lot of random people roaming around the area, couldn’t park close to my hotel room. Our door didn’t shut tight. We had to force it shut. There was bleach stains on the blankets. I wiped up some water that dripped on the floor near the toilet and didn’t notice how dirty the floor was till I looked on the napkin. There was a strong scent of chlorine in our room which made it difficult to sleep through (our room was next to the pool)

Roaches and rudeness.

Our room had roaches, and woman at the front desk was rude and verbally combative. I contacted booking.com about it and they tried their best to contact the hotel without any success. There was also a woman walking around the Inn with a large shard of glass knocking on windows and trying to get in. The pool door was unlocked for anybody to enter off the street, and they did.

A person of poor temperament should not serve the public. Maybe needs help.

Good rooms, clean, homely, with WiFi all time. Pool clear and cozy. Breakfast good. And the attention of the staff quite well, but.... the worst: there is something very wrong for which I do not recommend Rodeway Inn Lyons La Grange.

A single person can make a good trip end in a catastrophic way: the employee (or owners`daughter?) of the night shift is rude, embittered, impolite and really nasty. She was furious because I woke her up at 6:30 am to help me get a taxi to the airport. On my next trip to Chicago, I will not return to that hotel. Only for her, from 5 stars, I give 1 star because there isn`t less.

Cheaper compared to other hotels around the Chicago area. It has a warm pool. Location made it easy to get to Chicago.

Pillows were not comfortable.

Great Stay

The staff was all super nice and super helpful! The hotel room was pretty clean with only minor issues that were too big of a deal. Location was nice as well. Would definitely stay again.

The bathroom wall had pealing paint behind towel rack, microwave paint was chipped, and there was a little mold in the shower. The only other issue was that they only gave us two towels, two wash cloths, and one hand towel - which for two people there three days was kinda sucky because there were no towels at the pool so we had to use our only towels for pool or shower.

Spa worked well. General room cleanliness was good. Bed comfy

.Toilet ran due to improperly installed flapper. Outside of property looked run down. Not sure if deadbolt worked properly. Curtains not hung correctly, couldn't close for total privacy completely.

No communication gadgets in the room to contact the reception office in case of needs or complaints

Bad experience, won't stay there again

It has it's own parking and is close to metra

It was cold few days before we arrived and some pipes froze. Because of that we didn't get our breakfast and didn't get refund for that. Internet is very poor when it's working, and that's what nobody wants to help you with

Nice clean bed and room, spacious for a motel, nice area, near food, nice parking lot, checked in quickly, free simple breakfast

When we woke up before checkout the sink and shower wouldn't work, no water from either, and sink leaked at night so woke up to a puddle of water. must have just happened overnight? paid over 90$ for one bed and no water 😭

It could have been better if it had not been for hotel staff’s indifference

A reasonably maintained property. Staff was welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. parking was sufficient. wifi was average

Breakfast was below average with no eggs and hardly any variety. Our bathtub drained too slow and one had to take shower in ankle deep water. Hotel staff was told twice. They were already in knowledge of it. A staff member promised a plumber would be coming soon. None came during our two days stay.
