Great Staff and a Restful Hotel

I liked it a lot! It's an old converted Holiday Inn style building with rooms that cluster around a pool. It was sort of nostalgic for me, since I attended various conferences in past years in hotels like it. It was quiet, private and very restful. Glad to see a workable tub since I have a sore back and needed to soak. Good fridge and microwave. Very kind and helpful staff. I also liked that the hotel is located on roads that are set back from the main roads. Made me feel safer.

Only 2 things: The bed was so high up and I was having back problems. I dealt with it but it was a minor issue. Right before I checked out, they keys kept going red on me and locking me out, but we finally figured it out. Both were minor issues.

Avoid this place.

The room hadn't even been cleaned. Facility was in very poor condition. We left

Other then the poorly up kept building the stay and the staff was okay

To expensive . Not up kept, mold in the bathroom, wall paper was peeling off. Safety lock was broke

No elevator. More choices in vending machine. Hanging picture over the bed was taped!! And the glass was not secure so it could have fallen on me !! Not worth the $150.00 plus taxes I was charged.

There were nice rooms, if you are traveling with a pet, you will not see them.

Good location, near the interstate. Lots of stores and restaurants near by. There was a beautiful area in the middle. They have rooms that look out onto an indoor pool.

We did not get one of the cool rooms. We came here because we have a small dog and the website said they were “pet friendly”. When we arrived, and confirmed we had a small dog, we were not given king size bed we had booked online, instead a room on the back side with two double beds. Once we got in the room, it was obvious that room was given to anybody with a pet. The door with scratched terribly from the inside. We would have had a much better nights sleep had we had the king bed!

Travel to the area often, will not be staying again.

Hallways smelled bad, quilt was dirty, bathroom door didn’t latch or lock, air conditioner was loud, lights were light on by the pool all night.

Worst experience ever. No functioning room to stay in when i got there

The guy, Vicky, who had no way to fulfill the hotels obligations, was very nice

The room needed a shower that worked, needed wifi that worked, needed handicapped access and needed working doors. I didn't try the microwave or sit on the bed. No Handicap Access or parking, even though I booked a handicapped room.

The place is not too bad but it certainly needs some fixing in some rooms.

The pool and playground are all inside. Breakfast is decent.

Our first night after going out and getting back, we noticed that the room’s ac stopped working. We got another room and that one had a small leak in the bathroom. I notified front desk and was told someone would check it out that day but never happened.

Great place to relax!!!!

This is a very clean, and nice quiet location to relax and enjoy all of the things to do in this beautiful part of Michigan. Nilsa, the manager was soooo nice upon arrival. She upgraded my room at no extra charge to a whirlpool suite, after she noticed I was stretching my back from being on the highway!!. That goes a long way for us. Thanks Nilsa.

Sketchy place and waaay overpriced and the bathroom ceiling was falling down.

Wow no hot water that's the worst hotel I have ever stayed in to not be able to shower.

The room was clean but toilet did not work and no hot water for a shower.

THERE WAS NO HOT WATER TO TAKE A SHOWER. AT A HOTEL U SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT. MY DAUGHTER HAD SCHOOL AND COULD NOT SHOWER NO HOT WATER IN THE NIGHT OR MORNING. MY TOIKET IN MY ROOM WOULD NOT FLUSH HAD TO USE LOBBY BATROOM. THERE WAS NO TOWELS IN POOL AREA.

Very Disappointed

The location

Rented a Jacuzzi room and was told after check in that the water maybe Luke warm at best so may not be able to use the Jacuzzi. That night the water was too cold but in the morning the water was warm enough but the jets blew out some brown debris and the water was brown. We ended up draining the Jacuzzi and when er did we noticed a brown ring around the fill line. I feel I shouldn't have been charged for a Jacuzzi room when I didn't even get to use it. Plus thr button was broken.

It was clean and reasonably priced.

It was hard to locate the rooms they way they were numbered and the staff wasn't interested in helping. They left a door lock protruding and I tore the skin on my arm badly. The front desk did give me a large bandaid to cover the inch and a half tear.
