Getting a refund and leaving the property without getting some kind of disease. The room was not cleaned and was left the same as the last guest. The next room we were moved to was even worse.
The scent of illegal drugs, the dirty underwear in the floor, the roaches, the prescription meds left in the bed, the dirty sheets not changed.

Someone knocked on my door at 8:30 am to ask if we were staying another night, instead of waiting closer to check it time. Didn't really appreciate that

The first room they gave us wasn't clean the tub and did not look like it had been closed for months and the sheets were nasty. They switched us to another room that was a little better but we had to go my cleaning supplies to clean ourselves. This is the worse hotel we have ever stayed.

We were in town for the football game, so the location was perfect. Often times we’ve had to stay in Columbus or even Montgomery in order to find a room. I ended up not needing the two nights that I booked because the game was so early, the young lady I spoke with to see if I could cancel was very polite and helpful. I booked through a third party and was well beyond the cutoff for cancellation, so I was not expecting to be able to cancel the extra night without a fee, but she took care of it with no issue.
We arrived late and checked in with your night auditor. He was polite, but lacked the friendly welcoming attitude I would expect from any front desk agent. He did not check my ID nor confirm that the credit card on file was the card I wanted to use-it was, but what if it wasn’t? The building is aging and could use some attention, and the pungent odor of marijuana was heavily present as we located our room. Once we arrived in the room I was even more disappointed. Crumbs on the floor, hair in the bathtub, the sink had remnants of a dark soda being dumped out, toothpaste dried on the mirror. Additionally, the sheets were heavily worn and discolored, and the pillows needed replacing some time ago. I may have my expectations too high-I worked for Marriott got over a decade and currently work in the vacation rental industry-but I would never have approved any of my units with even one of these issues. I forgot, the shower head did not work properly either and made showering a chore! I understand that buildings age and there’s not much they can really be done about that unpleasant aroma, if those had been the only issues I wouldn’t have complained, but I cannot let the lazy housekeeping and needed room updates go undocumented.

This Hotel looked like it was abandoned. Should not be open for business. I checked out right away and asked for a refund.

Should be shut down! Floors had not been swept/mopped ever, there was mold in the bathroom shower, toliet had used toliet paper where it had not been cleaned much less flushed. bra hanging on bathroom door sheets dirty, comforters horribly dirty, smoke detectors in both rooms we had were taped over. We had two rooms and both were horrible, rooms 203 and 222 (the air was not working in 222). We left and did not stay, we had paid for two nights in both rooms but they only gave us a refund for one night of each room. My husband is going to take up with management about the other two nights of refund.
