TC trip '24

The staff was friendly at the front desk. The breakfast had a good variety of foods. It was very clean. The pool area was amazing and my kids really enjoyed that area.

The room temperature was a little uneven- warm on one side but freezing on the other.

It was good, could've been better

For a Ho-Jo this was a pretty nice place. Rooms were clearly updated and clean, and had a very nice lobby area. Also one of the nicest pools/pool areas I've seen.

Stayed 2 nights and housekeeping never came-so no new towels, no making of the beds, no refilling of the coffee in the room. When we asked at the front desk about it, they basically shrugged their shoulders. Also the beds were pretty uncomfortable.

Heather is a keeper and the pool is a hidden gem!

Heather was excellent! Very attentive and friendly. The pool area was unexpected. It was like a hidden island oasis.

The decor was dated but clean. I’d like to see a better breakfast.

Very disappointed and will not stay or recommend to anyone.

Location

We arrived at 4:00 pm and room was not ready. They asked if we could come back in an hour. We found something to do and went back 2 hours later and room still was not ready. It was after 6:00 pm. After traveling over 4 hours to get there we were not happy about the extra 2 hour wait. The room smelled horrible, TV didn’t work at first. Begged for a new remote, finally had to go to the front desk to retrieve a different one. Bathroom sink was clogged. Saturday morning I called around 8 am to request room to be cleaned ( sheets and clean towels were all we wanted) she said she would put us on the list. Upon returning to the hotel around 6pm to shower and get ready for the night we found our room was not cleaned. I called front desk and she said no one put us on the list and house keeping was gone for the day. I went to the front desk, again, and received 2 TOWELS. On top of that the floor felt damp and my feet were black from walking on the carpet. I asked if we could receive a discount or late check out or any compensation for everything that happened and the girl at the desk laughed. I paid 600.00 for 2 nights in this nasty hotel. Due to the festival there were no rooms available elsewhere. Disappointed

Nice clean room. Comfortable bed and nice breakfast nook.

I struggled with the heater. Maybe some instructions on how it works on the table with the remote would be nice.

Poor

They told me at check in I couldn't stay there because I lived to close. I lived within 20 miles and the rule was 25 miles. It was a entire mess. They finally called a manager and got special permission to allow me to stay. After I had to tell them I was there for a charity event on mental illness. Then they had me down for 2 nights when it was only 1 night that had to be fixed as well. I don't fell it should take close to 30 minutes to check in when your the only 1 checking in. The whole situation was upsetting 😡.

I did not feel safe. Would not recommend or stay again.

Upon arriving, there were sketchy characters hanging around in the parking lot, smoking, and arguing loudly. The concierge was dealing with a difficult guest and once they left she told us that there had been an altercation with the group that was hanging around and they would not be staying. She was interrupted by them in person and on the phone multiple times while trying to get my husband and I checked in. One woman came in and claimed to be homeless and was rudely interrupting the concierge while she was taking care of us, demanding a room. The concierge (Blue) was very patient, polite and respectful throughout everything. The group was still at the motel when we left the next morning.

An ok place to stay if your an old person

Easy check in and out

This place cares way to much about who’s where and doing what. This isn’t a 5 star hotel in Vegas. They literally yelled at people for walking with vapes and being together in rooms. We were treated like kids at a day care.
