Specious, clean and located in walking and cycling distance to Erie attractions we wanted to use. Staff was friendly and greeted us anytime we saw them.
Kitchenette was bare bones. Outlets were sorta like a garage. No plates, utensils, dish soap etc.

How when we got there the room was paid 3 months ago except for a security deposit which we didn't know and we had no money but thank you for his brother but other than that it was good

2 Clean rooms with two queen beds with no door to separate them. One room had a bathroom. One room had a kitchen. The dog policy was VERY convenient and gracious.
The area felt a bit dicey, but the property guard patrolling the property made us feel safe.

Bedding was dirty and had other people's hair in it and a shoe print. The floor made our feet and socks black. We got bit up by bugs from sleeping there one night in that room, found bugs in the bed and had to check out the next day to find a better/cleaner hotel.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the tv had the option for Netflix, and the steps an elevator were accessed by room key.
The shower needed a little more pressure.

Staff was great, but you could tell they didn't have adequate or quality staff. There is a lovely garden (patch of grass) area with two areas protected from the elements. This was great for walking dogs, but the dog poop bag location did not have any poop bags. The room was mostly clean, except for the three dirt streaks on the shower stall, the soapy (slick, dirty feeling) floor (needed to be cleared with a water sponge), and the make up foundation on the blanket (I don't wear make up). The bed was comfortable and the room was adequately sized. The bathroom door could have not been facing the room, but what are you gonna do?

The greatest Red roof I ever stayed. I stayed at 2 Red roof in my life, one was so/so the other one was a real dump ( I even quit as soon as I saw the place and booked somewhere else ). Give a try to this one base on reviews and gonna go back everytime I travel to Erie.
The only negative point is not about the hotel itself but about the never ending police siren. No matter which hotel you gonna choose in the city, you hear it all over town. It's very annoying after few hours. That could give the impression of a bad neighbourhood but from what I saw during my walk to Warner theatre the area seem good.

Close to hospita,l clean,coffee,new style door latch. I ended up staying next 2 nights. Compared to others on list much better priced
No breakfast ,rate increase fri and sat nite ,(yes i know thats pretty much industry standard). .curtians in this room wouldnt completely close and widow it toward walkway . The sid i was on faced a busy street so a little traffic noise . Not horrible but not super quite either

No carpet, remodeled and updated
The first time we stayed in August room was very clean. This last time, not so much. Floors dirty- in room and stairwell. Blood spots on walls and doors in bathroom/sink area. Tub could have been cleaned better. During the night (11:50pm-12:30am), it was loud- with people yelling either outside or in nearby room. Even sounded like they were bouncing a basketball. There was a dog barking too. Would have preferred to be on a lower floor too.
