Nice facility, although a bit dated -- could use some freshening up. Appreciated the free parking.

The Best Western Manager provided us with good travel tips. You could tell he was proud of his facility and the City of Portsmouth. Really appreciated the free parking -- a pretty rare thing for New England hotels/motels.

The facility could use some updating/improvements. The wallpaper in our bathroom was peeling and the sink drain was a bit clogged.

This place stinks and I wouldn’t let my dog stay there.

Very little.

Old, furniture in room was so dirty I covered hair with a towel to sit on it. Furniture was gouged, nicked and look like it should have been put out on the street. Bathroom sink was cracked. Pipes in shower made noise. Room carpet was dirty. Lobby leather furniture was warm and should have been thrown out. No breakfast offered and the front desk did not tell us that we could receive a 10% discount at the attached restaurant. My husband overheard someone after staying there for 4 days. The door barely opened on the elevator. The main front desk person had a very unwelcoming attitude.

Location was good but for the price we payed each night the hotel was not up to the standard

The shower door didn’t close so it leaked water all over the floor. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The top sheets had stains on them. The vending machine didn’t work and the outdoor pool was dirty and had other peoples towels all over

more than just a place to rest your weary bones, it’s an excellent home base to all Portsmouth has to offer!

seamless check in, accessible to the highway, rooms very sound proof and the cleanliness was impeccable. loved the diner next door as well

The worse experience

Honestly I didn’t like anything about about the stay , the front desk woman should not work with the public at all!!!!

The front desk was very rude I have traveled a lot and this was the worse check in experience The refrigerator didn’t work , the whole building smelled of cigarette smoke , the water didn’t get warm

No phone in the room to contact front desk. out side door locks where broken and the pool was dirty. the outside door to the pool was always left open not safe. Garbage was over flowing. would not go back.

The location was great and the room was clean and comfortable.

The pool was dirty and needed some updates.There was a smell in the hall ways.

great convenient option, with comfy beds and options.

We loved our room and the option for two pools. I also used the laundry that they had on the property.

Not much just people smoking right by the entrance out to the pool with kiddos I really didn’t want them to pass through a huge smoke circle. it was 6-8 people all at once.
