Breakfast was good and the service was excellent. It accommodated a number of food preferences. Kudos for omelet bar.

With our overall experience, it is difficult to comment positively other than Dan at the front desk on 10/25 was helpful.
Upon arrival we were given room 328. When we entered I noticed bug on the bed. Upon inspection, it appeared to be a ladybug. Ok, a ladybug isn’t so bad. However, I then noticed several on the walls, a couple on the ceiling, one on the couch and then my wife noticed a cluster of approximately 10 in the corner of the ceiling. Went downstairs, spoke with front desk gal and was given room 228. Went into room 228 and began to inspect due to prior room. All seemed ok until we pulled back the bed top covers and found a large hair and a couple small stains. Unsure if weren’t changed or poorly cleaned. Said nope and went back down to front desk and asked for a manager. Front desk have me a card for the GM and said I could talk to the GM in the morning. Explained that didn’t help us at the moment as we wanted to speak to someone about a refund as we refused to stay the night. She asked if we wanted to check out. I explained hell no, we r wanted a refund as we already paid through Booking.com and would be out two nights room and nowhere to stay. She provided no other options so we decided to try door number three. Assigned a new room which was tolerable but had either uncleaned or stained bathroom floor as well as grease hand prints from work done in the room. Next morning we went downstairs to ask for a manager and spoke with Dan who was pleasant, listened to our concerns, and explained he could handle a refund for us. After checking our reservation he explained we needed to contact Booking and he would make a note on our reservation to refund the one night of our stay for our trouble. Of minor note, never saw any mention of a per night parking charge (which was an unsecured open lot out back).

The staff were wonderful!
It’s run down and has not been maintained

Had issues at checkout. The price booking.com gave me was $50.00 less that the hotel was charging me.
Had to spend 15 minutes explaining and finding out why. Eventually my credit card was credited the $50.00.

The inside was nice enough.
The rooms were warm and stuffy. Left the ac on all night and hardly cooled down at all. Shower was also stained and sink didn’t drain.

Conveniently located and close to downtown social activities and restaurants. Great location for train watching with my room overlooking the Mississippi River and the CPKC RR main line
Flood plain. Street closures due to flood warnings. Ordering breakfast from the menu was the only option which was also a premium

Hotel was very clean and staff were very nice
Room could use some touching up. The wall had some damage with paint missing and the fixture in the shower seemed a bit loose.

Location good.
Room never cooled down. Dust bunnies in registers. Molding falling off the wall. Swimming pool water was cold.

Nothing at all.
I was booked into a room without working AC. Then told the room was in service and should never have been booked in the first place. I was moved to another room of equal size and again the AC did not work. I was never offered an upgrade or any complimentary service for the extreme inconvenience. We checked out and will never return. The nicest employee was the maintenance man who was very kind and gracious. The receptionist Elizabeth was insensitive and could care less if we checked out or not.

location is great and within walking distance of several places to go.
needs updating overall. the train runs by the hotel and woke me up twice. People walking by room n the night where talking and laughing also woke me up twice. Something was spilled on the elevator floor and not cleaned up only a hazard pillar was there. Tried calling this hotel the day before my stay several times to find out about parking options but no answer as the calls dropped after ringing off the wall!

The pool was not working. The price of the room should have been lower. There was a huge fight that broke up with rowdy people late. There was no tv remote in the room and we had to call room service but waited 30 min due to the fight.
