Everything!

It was on the lake. Couldn’t see it from the room. The balcony was falling apart. The door to the balcony was rotted out. My wife has the photos. I will send her this and she can fill in the blanks.
It was filthy. We have photos of hair bugs, and other nasty conditions. And there was no room, service, new towels, or any kind of service.

Many amenities.
Mold in the shower, and the overall up keep of the hotel.
4.0
nice location, friendly staff, nice pool area & lounge.
Absolutely no internet or cell service the wifi is basically non-existent. rooms are poor quality, bathrooms even worse with a shower that hardly worked. No working ice machines on our floor or near us.

Everything was very clean. I liked that we had several options when it came to snacks and meals. Being able to grab a quick cup of coffee at the lobby bar in the mornings was great

The staff was very helpful
When we went to bed on Sunday night, we noticed the bed sheets had stains, and food that was crusty on them.

Location was great. Loved the waterfalls and outdoor landscaping. HKs restaurant hostesses where very snotty but waiter and food was absolutely amazing. Could have eaten there more than once with our stay but we didn’t.
We stayed in a junior suite. The temp would only go down to 65 and it was definitely not that cold. We were sweating in our room, especially at night. Breeze’s restaurant was a rip off for the breakfast buffet, they wouldn’t even let us pick off the menu. The eggs and fruit where good. Out of everything and didn’t know when there was gonna be more. So all we had to eat was eggs, sausage links & fruit. It was the biggest rip off and was $36 bucks for two people plus a tip and we drank water.

the grounds
everything was old, bed was uncomfortable , rooms were outdated

I like the views of the lake when we were out and about.
We asked for a fireplace, nice view of the lake and got no fireplace and had to look over the parking lot. I didn’t like the stagnant water sitting at the bottom of the waterfall. The carpeting seemed to be lose and stretched everywhere which is a tripping hazard. And the coffee in the room was just horrible! We’ve been coming here for years and used to love it. But I think the care of the facility has gone way down and it shows all throughout the lodge.

The bed was comfortable and staff was friendly.
The vent above the toilet was hanging/missing a screw. Vent was dirty and wasn't painted when the rest of the restroom was. The paint/coating was peeling on the bathtub and mirror lined wall. Room did not match the advertisement from website I booked it through. The facility is in all around disrepair. Construction was the view from the balcony of our suite. Expected a certain wow factor and was disappointed. The pictures from my parents honeymoon in 1978 make that place look magical.

The charge is not worth it because everything is outdated—everything from furniture to walls. Absolutely everything is obsolete.

The breakfast was so overpriced. The food was horrible. The coffee was nasty.
The bathroom was so nasty. The toilet was broken. Our room was a view of a nasty roof.
This place was so disgusting. The pool and hot tub were not open, as they stated it would be.
NONE of the outside fire heaters were lit up.

Room was so much better then last years room

liked all the amenities the place had to offer. The restaurants, pools, outside fire pits, rooftop bar view.
rooftop bar was a 35 min. wait for a beer, the shower in our room was horrible- it barely sprayed any water out, shower didn’t drain water either at all, and the bathroom was just dirty, also we had no fridge in our room which was so weird for the cost of the place. I think we were in an older building and it definitely needed repairs. the hot tub was out of order also and the fountains were covered in nasty green algae.

was a short stay, but enjoyed the room.
cleaner carpets
for price of room, would have liked "continental breakfast"

The staff are friendly, interested, informative, and understanding. The amenities are beautifully one of a kind. The view and location are truly exceptional. When considering the quality, activity access, and on the lake location, the pricing surprised us.
A water and ice machine on the bottom floor next to a vending machine had a huge puddle of water underneath it. I couldn't seem to locate a self-serve free breakfast bar (most hotels that charge less include a complimentary breakfast). There weren't water bottles in the rooms so we had to get dressed and go out into the hall for a drink.

a beautiful location right off the lake. I loved the balcony view. breakfast was amazing for a buffet. plenty of parking available even with it being a busy venue.
honestly don’t have any complaints. we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy any of the facilities in the hotel.

The view from the room was wonderful.
At check in I was informed there would be not only a $75 fee for our dog but also a $50 “damage” deposit that would be returned. The outdoor steps and patio to the room were uneven and there were no handrails. In the room, the phone and coffeemaker did not work. The sound on the tv was intermittent at best. The engineer that came to our room said it was bad reception and could not be fixed. There were plastic blinds on the windows that were not light filtering. The orange patio light shined into the room all night. The AC had not been replaced. It was loud when the fan started. The room appeared to be newly painted and re-furnished. There was no desk or chair just the bed, side tables and dressers. The bathroom had only been repainted, the ceiling tiles were mismatched, old and dirty. There was no information in the room regarding restaurants, spa, golfing, marina, etc or emergency services/procedures.

lots of pools. close to everything. personal marina.
the only 2 things I didn’t like were the door key are from the 1920’s and would get de-magnetized. it was a battle every time we tried to open our door. The last thing were the shower heads also from 1920’s when the average height of man was 4’4. As 6’1 I couldn’t even bend over to get hair wet, I literally had to crouch which makes for a horrible shower.
