From now on this will be our “go to” whenever we overnight en route to the Eastern Cape or back to Cape Town

The host, pet friendly, position, privacy, security and space. Proximity to the beach is fantastic . Facilities both inside and out work for us with our pets

We did not dislike anything.

Our booking date was mixed up owner and so we didn't have the 2 Apartments we booked. Unfortunately, the kids had to sleep on a sofa bed which they did not find comfy.

Exceptional

Our hosts were super friendly and kind. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with Leisure Island, was our first visit and the community and location of the Island was amazing, definitely want to go back and revisit. Our accommodation felt as if we were in a little Italian villa on the Isle of white, narrow lanes, plenty of green plush flora. Was a great getaway.

Spacious, comfortable, and wonderful hosting

The cottage was super-comfortable and spacious, and surrounded by beautiful flowers. A few restaurants and coffee shops are a 5-min walk away, town a 10-min drive away, and I could do lovely walks around the isle. Gudi and John were amazing hosts and just so helpful. Really felt like 10 days of home away from home.

Disappointing

The host was very friendly

The property looks tired and tacky. The exterior needs painting. The furniture and bedding are stained. The Wi-Fi is too far from the router to be useable . The gas heater had only enough gas for a small part of the stay. The shower mat is dirty. The power supply to the electrical sockets failed causing the kitchenette to be unusable.

Mislead by photos.

The photos in the add on booking.com does not resemble the accomodation that you get. We booked a room with a balcony and we got a drop down room, with a small very untidy courtyard . On arrival after 16H00 the host were running up and down to get the room organised for our stay.

Superb

Being able to take a break where our pets are welcome is most important for us. We could go on long walks in the beautiful neigbourhood and enjoy the quiet peacefulness that Leisure Island and Beletage has to offer. The good filter coffee with plunger was a nice surprise!

Grass on our doorstep and leaves everywhere on the stoep - but that wasn't much of an issue, since we could take the doggies everywhere and we spent most of the stay indoors relaxing or going for long walks.

Quiet and very safe area, nice balcony for breakfast in the sun, outstanding hosts, Gudi and her husband were welcoming us very warm and helpful. Its possible to rent a bike or canoe there which is very nice to explore the lovely surroundings. The bed is very comfortable. Kitchen is small but everything inside you need. We can definitely recommend this place to other people. Thanks a lot for this wonderful time we had in your place, gudi. 👍😊

Lovely self catering

We had a wonderful stay a Beletage! The room was spacious and clean and the kitchen cupboard is such an innovative idea! We had a lovely braai on the porch and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Good stay at a fair price

The place is very nice and neat. It looks amazing and the kitchen is very cute.

It is a very cold place as it is all cement and there was a really bad smell at the entrance. There was also a lot of nice lavender, but as I'm allergic to bee's it was not a pleasant experience to have to walk through the lavender every time.

Comfortable stay in a great area

The property is located in a beautiful area that is quiet and safe.

Some more attention could be given to maintenance. There were some wires sticking out outside, the little kitchenette doors did not close properly. Some more attention to detail is also needed eg. there was only 1 wine class and 1 champagne class but it is accommodation for two people. There was also a bit of a damp smell but to be fair it was raining quite a lot.

We have never felt so safe and comfortable on a local urban holiday before. The host was an Absoloute delight and made our check in and checkout effortless.
