Exceptional

Hotel was dated but very clean. It has all the basics. We were concerned about not having ac but the box fan in the window made for great sleeping temperature. Amazingly the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for Land of Oz. It was close to Fred's for breakfast. Several restaurants to choose from. Close to Banner Elk for more restaurants, entertainment or shopping.

Nothing really to dislike. Its an old hotel so the furnishing were dated. The on-site Mexican restaurant's food was terrible but the waiter was great.

It was perfect. Had the right amenities that we need and was very cozy and relaxing. The staff was wonderful and answered any questions we had and were very pleasant

Didn't have air conditioning but you really didn't need it that much and they do provide a box fan.

It was a large room at a reasonable price. The full kitchen was a plus.

The hotel is old and could use updating. The pillows were not comfortable, but the mattress was okay.

Very convenient location to ski at Beech Mountain. Adequate accommodations.

Perfect location - so close to the mountain!

Could probably use a refresh of carpets, windows, furniture, etc.

very warm and inviting, really spacious as well

Tv did not work in the room and we tried to get it fixed but the staff could not fix it. also the ceiling fan in the room made a really loud grinding noise when it was on, even on a low setting

Excellent location, easy access, and wonderful views from the mountain. A great value.

We were in a split level suite - kitchen/living downstairs and a spiral staircase to bedroom. Both levels had baths which was great. Kitchen was very well equipped for our in-house meals. Rooms were very clean and kitchen/bath were spotless. Highly recommended. Be aware that the spiral staircase steps are small so if you are a larger size person, this could be a problem.

Shower heads were low - probably an older building. A minor note. But water pressure was great.

Good deal!

The studio was very clean. Kitchenette was stocked and well kept. Check in was easy. I can't complain because the price was very fair.

Heater was older but it did work. The stairs, hard to carry luggage up.

Great weekend getaway !

Great location,you can even catch a shuttle to the slopes,very clean,little outdated,but had everything we needed,room had a kitchenette with all the dishes and cookware.Close to everything,restaurant on site.
