The bed is comfortable and the shower is good
It would be nice if the hotel arranged for discounted parking and provided free brewed coffee in the morning.

La ubicación
El ruido a la compactadora al lado de nuestra habitación. El wifi funcionaba muy mal.

Location
No amenities. Room very small. Staff not friendly.

The location was tremendous- in walking distance to most of what we wanted to do in Providence. They are not only dog friendly but do not charge a pet fee - something we’ve never experienced before.

Close to venue , helpful/friendly staff, comfortable bed. Pricey for one night but I realize it was Comic-Con . However, staff gave wrong info about parking and we ended up with a big fine. They don’t automatically charge your credit card the second day you really have to pay every day.
Dark inside but a nice, quirky spot .
Need more outlets and we had no washcloths

Love the Dean! Quirky boutique hotel in a great location. Love the ambiance, the lighting, the rooms, the bath products, and even the elevator! Convenient parking next to the hotel. Super friendly staff.
It would be nice if the coffee shop stayed open later. Maybe a small selection of sundries for purchase.

The location was great if you are looking for something in walking distance to the convention center. The ambiance was great like a 50 - 60s vibe. The room I stayed in was a good size plenty of seating. The art work in the room was great. There were a lot of food spots within walking distance as well. Kin is great for some soul food...
The room was nice, there were some really nice touches, but there were a lot of small things that were overlooked that could make the stay not as enjoyable. There was only one trash can in the room which was in the bathroom, could have used another in the main area, there was no fridge/Microwave but in my opinion there is more than enough room for a small combo unit. No soap dish in the shower, no phone in the room, and the stool in the bathroom could have been taller if it was to be used as counter space.

Nice retro vibe. Good location,
Close to gay bars. Strong shower.
Staff needs better hospitality training; nobody smiled. The lobby is small and cramped. The open door shower soaked my floor. The air conditioning is a loud window unit.

Hip, clean, boutique hotel created from a formal brothel. Antique elevator, red lighting in the hallways, vintage room decor, large bathrooms, friendly staff, two memorable interior bars, and easy walking distance to everything in downtown Providence were all positives. Also the room was quiet and (when we wanted it to be) dark.
The bathroom needed a side table to place toiletries. Also we liked the black tiles and the rain forest shower head but we would have preferred a glass door rather than a curtain. A small fitness room and breakfast included might have been helpful too. These are all minor quibbles, however.

Not a lot. The hotel was disappointing generally. There was no fridge. There was water in the room if you paid for it. The best thing was the Irish pub a few doors down from the hotel.
The girls at check in were helpful.
The bed was a small double, soft and not well made; the bedding didn’t seem to cover it properly. The air con was a small unit fitted into the window which meant there were gaps either side and therefore noise filtered in from the street.
The lift got stuck on the top floor which meant we had to eventually go up and fix it so we could get it moving to carry our bags down, one at a time.
The cost of overnight parking was unbelievably US$38. We were told by the hotel staff that though it was not their parking area this was our best option, they did not tell us that if we’d parked five minutes walk away in the shopping mall it would have cost us $20.
You can imagine our reaction the next morning when we found an infringement notice. The hotels’ reaction was, it’s not our problem it’s not our responsibility. When the hotel employee defensively directed us to the parking area’s office it turned out that during the time it took us to walk into the hotel with our bags, check in, connect to wifi to provide ID, credit card etc, and return to the car to pay the $38, we were booked. The parking office attendant then voided the fine however he warned us that may not actually work.

A unique “ boutique “ hotel. Loved the design details in the room. Beautiful and spacious bathroom. Great shower!
The hallway is dark.
Would have liked more counter space and brighter lighting in bathroom for applying makeup

The hotel is gorgeous and the staff was very attentive.

All good otherwise!
Only little thing that could've been better would be an accessible mirror, not over the bed.

The hotel's aesthetic was wonderful. I loved our room - it was very tidy, clean and spacious. The front desk staff was incredible - they were super insightful and happy to help!
The elevator was very small and we couldn't figure out how to work it. The walls are pretty thin so we were woken up early by the cleaning staff.

Convenient to down-city.
The older style lift.

it was very interesting and unique, but still functional and stuff. super tasteful decorations
the barn door to the bathroom was sort of finicky but thats about it.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.
The chairs in the room were garbage. And the mattress was lumpy.

Awesome staff; great coffee shop and bar in the hotel; great location near all the downtown attractions and bar/restaurants. The lift and red lighting give it a very vintage feel.
That might have been arguably the worst bed/pillows I've ever slept on/with in the entire life and I slept on a couch with decorative pillows for a year. And there's only a

Great location and style. Nice economy hotel. Limited services. No fridge or coffee maker in room, but they could store food in a secret fridge. I asked for a little at to h at water for tea or oatmeal. They provided me a tea kettle for the room.
Lack of coffee maker and fridge in room. They will sell you coffee, but no need ay to make it in room. Coffee shop in lobby opens 7 am, so early risers need to wait or go out. Tommy's place on weybosset opens six am.

cute boutique hotel with adorable quirks, like a unique elevator with the accordion gates type doors, and funky lighting in the hallways. Very interesting esthetics.
We’ve stayed there before and had a cute little room. recognizing they are doing what they can with their space, this time our room was a little awkward to maneuver around as it was narrow and most of the space was filled with the bed and bathroom. just part of the quirks of a boutique hotel, but we wouldn’t want to stay in that particular room again.

Should have storage for clothes. 3 hangers. Only. Living out of suitcase

Funky, coolest hotel I've ever stayed at. Can't imagine going anywhere else next time I visit Providence. The ambience. The incense when you walk into the lobby that carries over into the body wash and shampoo, the vintage, industrial decor, the low lighting throughout, the unique elevator lift like in old movies, the long hallways with vintage carpet down a hardwood floor, the cozy room, the details, the personal note card written out to me on a side table, the no extra charge late checkout request being given. I didn't check out the karaoke bar, but it sounded lively. Love this place. Totally going back.
No mini frig or microwave was the only inconvenience. I never asked if they had an ice machine.

The room was really clean, beds were comfy and the location was great. The staff was really nice.
The halls were lit with only a red light (even at night), which is extremely creepy and just a poor decision. I don't know who thought it was a great idea but it was extremely eerie to walk to my room (at the very end of the hallway). Thankfully I only stayed one night but I wouldn't return because of how creepy it is to walk down the halls. The elevator is also an older model where there's a gate and it gave creepy vibes.

they have a great attention to detail and smells amazing.
