we had a beautiful view from the balcony of the black hills
alot of the places were already closed at the location
3.0
We liked the location, restaurants and shops on the property.
The room was not clean upon our arrival. The bedding was old, dirty, and stained. The floor was dirty with food crumbs on the carpet.
5.0
We loved the location, convenient to everything. So much for kids to do.
Wifi is awful

The pool by the lodge is great! The pancake tent was good.
The cabin we were in smelled like stale cigarettes, BO, and pine needles. It was the most unpleasant thing about the trip. And our cabin was so far away from everything up front we had to drive a lot.
2.5
The property was in an excellent location and the staff was friendly. There are a lot of activities available for families. Good breakfast included with our stay.
The facilities are very dated. The bedrooms and bathrooms could use a major update. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were hard and flat. There was no cleaning service available for our room during our three night stay.

Had everything could think/ want and all on the grounds.

Location. Great facilities
Rather crowded

Had everything you needed. Great location.
Kids yelling and running up and down the halls early hours.
Not kids fault parents. No respect for others sleeping.

The hot tub and beautiful scenery inside and outside of Executive Lodge 30.
The towels felt like sandpaper, there was coffee but no creamer or sugar. The flat-screen TV in the master bedroom never worked and the living room TV remote had a weak battery. Plus the locks on the sliding doors were broken. We nearly locked ourselves out one night when the front door mechanism remained in lock mode. Thanks to our 5-year-old who left one door open. I wish there was a brighter front door light. I tripped in the dark after returning there at 8pm.

Location was pretty good for the things we did in the area. Our room was nice and the breakfast was just ok.
The use of our cell phones was almost non existant!! That was probably our worst complaint about the whole Black Hills
experience!

the cabin itself
no privacy

location.
it was hard to find. the vent in the bathroom was so loud
4.5
Nice place, comfortable, roomy, had sufficient utensils and cookware
Could have had more towels. There were the bare essentials - not one extra.

The rooms and lodge were beautiful. The grounds were beautiful.
The breakfast was lacking. Dogs were barking in motel part all night.

We stayed in the lodge and loved the locations and amenities! We also were so happy to bring our dog. Excellent location for local sightseeing!
Maybe having more food offerings? Both restaurants were too similar.

Breakfast was good. Thankful to have it.
The cabin was not clean when we got there. But after I cleaned it the location was perfect for us. Away from the heart of activity and allowed us some space outside to relax.

The lodge is a beautiful, rustic, cabin feel. There were single family cabins scattered around and trees everywhere. They offered a ton of add-ons (quite expensive though)
Because it's a lodge, with multiple cabins and a Koa it was over crowded. The water slide online looks huge but in reality it was small. There was not a company policy in place about children in the hot tub. (Unusal from previous stays at other places) So the tiny hot tubs were over crowded with at least a dozen children from age 2 to 12. Then the main pool and hot tub got closed down due to an accident in the pool. We went across the grounds and was trying to enjoy some relaxation in the other hot tub. The other hot tubs jets weren't working and then some preteen boys (4 boys 9 to 12) jumped in the hot tub and precced to take turns peeing. It was a game. We were fed up at that point and went back to our room.

Outstanding place for family’s! There’s something for everyone to enjoy! You can stay in a room, a cabin, or camp. You can rent golf carts, side-by-sides. There’s a restaurant, gift shop, & wine. You can ride horses up trails. Pools, playgrounds, and scheduled activities everyday! Night time outdoor movies. Well thought out and only a couple miles from The Historic Mt. Rushmore! They’ll even shuttle you up for the show. The staff was very pleasant.
The hallways in the hotel get a little loud with excited kids. They can’t control themselves, lol. Not really complaining.
3.5
The location was good if you are going to see Mt. Rushmore. Lots of things to do for little kids.
It was too much of a circus for me. I like a quieter more authentic setting. Way too expensive unless you use the amenities. Paid for what I thought was a horseback ride and it was a wagon ride. The sole purpose I traveled here was to go horseback riding. It was again, great for little kids. it was a good meal, but was not at all what I had planned. I spent way too much money and traveled way to far to stay here.

Poor breakfast as compare to other hotel last expensive hotel. With expensive acomadate should have at least pan cack or Sausage or quality break fast for customers.
Breakfast poor. We pay $3.50 for all you can eat pancakes but is not worth it. Servers can't keep up.
