Will not stay again.

Beach access has no steps. It’s a horribly steep incline that you had to crawl up from beach.

Would come back

Location is right on the beach, close to a few good restaurants. Beds were comfortable, and housekeeping available every day.Breakfast had a variety of food for everybody's taste in my family. As waffle making machine, variety of yogurt, pastry,eggs,decent coffee. If you would like to see the ocean from your balcony room, it needs to be on the 3rd or 4th floor. We paid for dune view, and the price was fair.

Our room 219 was right at the staircase where everyone would pass it,kind of noisy.

Location is great. We liked the small size of the hotel. Breakfast was convenient.

The hill up/down to beach is steep. Bathrooms are Small. Would like to see carpet removed and vinyl flooring added.

My stay wasn't long enough!

Breakfast was basic. It was nice to have the choice to eat there or go out. The beach is ALWAYS AWESOME! Always clean and rarely do you need to worry about what you might see. VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY and conveniently located. Love the fact that we didn't even have to reserve beach chairs and umbrellas! Day to day rental was a huge perk!

The walls are NOT well insolated and you can hear the conversation going on in the adjoining rooms. fortunately I was by myself most of the days that I stayed

Pleasant

This property was in a great location and close to many things. The staff was extremely friendly.

The hotel room itself was ok but the bathroom area is extremely small in the King Room. Our trash/room wasn’t taken out or cleaned daily which is important with going to the beach and all the sand.

Clean room - short walk to beach - kind and friendly staff. Would stay again.

Very clean on arrival - staff was very kind and friendly - beds very comfortable

While I knew we were not getting an ocean view room I thought all of the rooms had a balcony to sit on. Still enjoyed the stay very much but would of been nice to know the room did not have a balcony prior to arrival. (And maybe I misread something so this could be on me)

Wouldn’t stay there again.

Location. Beach area was very nice. Room was clean.

Cieaning crew did not leave soap, coffee packs and cups, and toilet paper. Balcony was not usable because a/c unit left pools of condensation and it’s hot air blew on the seating area.

Amazing location....great staff...and clean rooms.

Room was 2 steps from walkway to beach. Beautiful, clean beach. Also.....clean rooms....we arrived early and got use pool and beach access til room was ready!

Breakfast area was a little tight ...did not flow well.

Great beds, close to everything!

Close to beach

Rug in room, made it musty. So I found it was very clean but there was a stale smell that you had to get over when you first walked in the room. My husband said it’s the cleaning agents they use as well, but just not great air circulation. As wind would never get a chance to blow through that one of those rooms.

great place to stay on the off season. would be worth a in season visit

it was on the beach. rooms were clean. had indoor pool and hot tub

I had a fantastic experience at Shutters On the Banks. The staff was courteous and helpful. Great breakfast!

We enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was good and the dining area and sitting area were very nice! Helpful staff member showed us how to use the waffle machine😋

Bathroom and entry were cramped.

Very Loud

I liked the staff, I also liked the refrigerator and microwave.

My trip was for a family funeral so being at a hotel were I couldn't sleep was the worst..I didn't like the fact that I'm in a hotel to sleep but couldn't sleep. Everytime someone closed the door to their room it was very loud and I'm not a light sleeper. The air conditioner unit was so loud in the room it was ridiculous. I usually don't write reviews but I will never stay in this establishment again.

Good value. Room for improvement.

Not our first stay here. We like the value, location and ammenities. Breakfast good. Pool clean, beds comfy.

Saw a few hairs on bathroom floor and nail clippings on carpet. A real negative for me.

After changing to a room with a view my only complaint was a saggy mattress. Pleole we’re nice and location was good.

Dune view means 20 ft dune blocking any ocean sighting.
