Bien situé

L’emplacement très bien situé. la facilité lors de l’arrivée et le grand balcon avec moustiquaire sont un grand avantage. Le balcon donne sur la rivière avec plein d’oiseaux. Nous avons vu un dauphin. L’appartement est très propre et les équipements de la cuisine sont complets. Le lit est confortable et l’appartement est silencieux.

Les équipements étaient très propre mais ils sont très vieux et abîmé, ce qui est un désavantage pour le prix exigé. Le rapport qualité-prix n’est pas bon et trop élevé pour l’état des équipements. Nous faisons le tour de la Floride et c’est le moins bon rapport qualité prix pour cette catégorie. Nous avons loué des condo neufs et situé face à des lacs ou à la mer pour moins cher. Cela dit, nous retournerons sûrement malgré cela.

Absolutely superb location and had everything we needed. However, it is a bit rough round the edges.

Internet was very problematic and couldn't connect at all on the second day.

Location on the lake was very peaceful. Very relaxing place & ideal location for everything at Everglade City. Cabin was a good size & deck had a great view. Good aircon. Very helpful friendly owners

Relaxing and amazing views of the wilderness. Spacious and calm.

Location is walking distance from the small supermarket and town. The accommodation is spacious

The sofa bed mattress was stained on arrival (blood ? Wine ?) and it was too late to call someone when we discovered it. We had to make the sofa bed on arrival, it was not ready for us. They did change it the following morning when we flagged it.

I had a wonderful stay

I did a round trip through Florida and stayed in different accommodations. The Cabin was the best and most comfortable accommodation. Clean, spacious and a great view of the water. I could watch the alligators splashing around.

A peaceful getaway location to experience the real Everglades

The location was exactly as described and was bigger than expected. We had good views to front and more steps and a view down to water behind. There was a patio and a a communal table and chairs by the waterside. The room including kitchen and bathroom were well specified and everything worked fine. We were a short walk to the local cafe for meals. We had sheltered parking (under the room). It looked quite old but that added to the character we were expecting and as mentioned everything worked perfectly.

Most splendidly situated, from the terasse a superb view over lake and mangrove swamp. Excellent point of departure for visiting the wild nature of the Everglades. And no so far away from the Seminole tribe AH-TAH-THI-KI Museum. And closer, the historical Smallwood Store in Chokoloskee is worth visiting, with museum, possibilities for boat trips as well as fresh oysters and sea food.

Very fun and memorable

The friendly staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the island and water. The location was excellent to fish and centrally located to get anywhere easily. The cabins were clean and with a smart and functional layout design with access to your car and back deck both.

Perfect laid-back cabin for our tours from Everglades City.

authentic, rustic, very spacious, sitting room, dining area and separate full kitchen, clean, large balcony overlooking lake, washer / drier room, friendly staff, accommodated an earlier check-in to allow us to take a 4pm air boat tour, easy parking, good a/c units.

This was an excellent base camp for our Everglades adventures.

The location is wonderful. We really enjoyed sitting on the screen porch watching the sunrise. we appreciate the fact that our dogs could be there with us.

The air conditioner in the living room was extremely loud and would make a banging noise periodically. It was hard to sleep with it on.
