The location was perfect! The house was really comfortable, quirky and everything we needed for our friends weekend away.
When cooking the smoke alarm always went off!

The House was comfortable & catered for all our needs (home from home) We loved the retro furnishings. Nice kitchen with dishwasher/washing machine/lots utensils pots/pans good size fridge.
Nice little outdoor area with fab benches & mirror along wall.
The bedrooms catered for seven adults easily enough comfortable & lovely decor. Good size bathroom with bath tub & overhead shower & which has good pressure complete with loo.
Upstairs also has a loo which is very handy when theirs seven of us!
Downstairs open plan living space with a good size dining table & benches which comfortably seated all of us.
Plenty of other seating sofa/chair/under window seating area . The location is within walking distance of everything! We visited "old town" shops & pubs also "shell grotto" worth a visit with a fab shop & Margate Caves. So lots to see & do but be aware that mondays is closing day for the majority of retail it seems (old town). The beach
lovely sandy & lots of it. Had excellent communication from the host regarding keys ect & a list of recommended places to visit & eat very helpful. WiFi included. Our booking was excellent value for money & ideal for our needs.
We had a great time & recommend this accommodation for small or large groups.
Not liking memory foam mattress but thats our personal preference ( still managed to sleep well considering 🙂)

Eaton house was ideally located just a short walk from the town and beach.
Roxy had left the key in a keysafe box and her instructions and information booklet were both great and very helpful.
She also responded immediately when we had a problem.
Kitchen was equipped very well for the 8 guests.
The lounge area had a quirky eclectic style and felt very cosy.
Nice touch -Bottle of wine, milk and eggs left for us for our arrival.
The bathroom off the kitchen was very disappointing. The shower drain blocked after every shower and flooded the small patio/garden area and smelt fowl. We did notify Roxy and she was very apologetic but was unable to get help out to us at short notice. The window doesn't open, extractor fan doesn't work and the door doesn't close without some serious leverage. The upstairs toilet also doesn't lock - lots of whistling all weekend!
The back door is really shabby and rotten at the bottom.
We slept in the lower bunk bed and the mattress was the worst sleeping experience I have ever had, apart from the floor! Again we did let Roxy know and she has said that she was unaware and will replace it as soon as she can. She also paid for a round of drinks for us all which was very sweet of her but we sadly didn't sleep well all weekend. The window in that room barely opens due to the blind fitting and there are no hooks or hangers for your clothes. The other guests also said that their mattresses were uncomfortable apart from the master room which had a topper on it.
The lounge area only has one sofa and one chair which is unable to accommodate the possible 9 guests.
Sadly the cleaning wasn't up to par and the kitchen skirting boards had splashes all over them from some previous spillages and we found a pair if used men's underpants in the back bedroom - yuck.

The house was perfect for our group trip to Margate! About a five minute walk to the central point of the waterfront, with just over another five to go either to the Turner Contemporary gallery in one direction or the train station in the other.
The decor was modern and with lots of lovely/quirky items to give it a real character.
The living space included comfortable sofas/seating, along with a large dining bench, leading through to the kitchen and then a spacious bathroom (featuring a stylish bathtub!).
Each of the bedrooms had a nice range of configurations and everyone's feedback was that the beds were super comfortable. The master room was notably large.
Fortunately the duvets were really fluffy and thick as the loft room was quite cold this time of year (November), despite the heating being on downstairs.

Spacious, clean with well equipped kitchen.
Didnt like the bathroom downstairs off the kitchen, no sink in the loo upstairs. Location close to seafront but necessitates walking past some hostels for men with issues - they sit outside and smoke all the time. They did not cause us any trouble at all, but my teenage daughter found them intimidating and did not want to leave the house alone. Pretty much par for the course in Margate ( a lively place but edgy ) I suppose.
