The room was big.
The staff never cleaned the room, replaced towels., or took out trash in our 7 day stay. We complained 4 days in a row and the staff kept saying sorry our cleaning staff sucks.

Outstanding, our room had two baths, two bedrooms, a full kitchen and two bedrooms. The breakfast was awesome!; Super friendly staff and very clean.
I loved it all

location of our one bedroom suite- #127 - first floor right off the parking lot- but still quiet! Got extra regular coffee from Front desk upon checkin.
the exhaust fan in the bathroom needs to be fixed or replaced as it is loud and can’t keep the light on in there at night b/c of the noise. Not a big deal but we were there for 5 days and it just became annoying. We asked for cleaning on day 3 and more coffee and they did a nice job. Day 4( at night) we ran out of TP( and no extras)so we used our Kleenex. these are minor things but at $250./weekday rate- it does matter. But front desk was great and we LOVE this property‼️

The heat stopped working on a 10-15 degree night and my child had a gymnastics competition to be at at 7:45am. We were very uncomfortable. My husband had to get our screwdriver to help with the circuit breaker box per the woman request because she didn’t know what she was doing and the “heat” was blowing out cold so we had to turn it off but since it was off they say they couldn’t do anything about it.

An unusual experience occurred the night we checked in. ( which was after midnight but the hotel was notified and the keys were ready)I opened the door to find it locked from the inside. Yes, it was already OCCUPIED by a very mad gentleman whom I had awakened. I don’t understand how the front desk had NO RESERVATION for “Mike” but he had secured the room?!? AND- the hotel was FULL!?! But, Patricia did the next best thing and at least got us a room at another hotel in the area. A very unfortunate incident but thanks to Patricia, we finally had a very nice bed to SLEEP. ( and paid for by the Residence Inn!)The next day we moved back to our “reserved room” ( a one bedroom suite) and found it to be WONDERFUL. Out mantra is- “All’s well that ends WELL”. We believe that we have found our “home away from home” when visiting family in Decatur, IL‼️It’s a GREAT FACILITY with very ACCOMODATING STAFF!
