We like Warrensburg. The area the hotel is in is a strange mix of big well-tended houses and properties that seem to have been abandoned. The river and the parks around it are beautiful, and there are a couple of nice restaurants around in addition to the one at The Bond.
We've stayed at The Bond for 3 years in a row. This was the first time we weren't happy with the housekeeping. There was an unpleasant smell, which they had attempted to cover up with a room deodorizer and an open box of baking soda on the mantle. The building was ice cold, although we were able to get someone to come turn down the AC. Two of the pillows smelled bad so we didn't use them. There was a towel hanging on a hook in the bathroom that may or may not have been used and left behind by the housecleaning staff.

I really liked the snacks/breakfast things they had out. It was not hot food, but there was a variety and there was fruit. Surroundings were beautiful, and it had everything I needed. There was a refrigerator in the room and a microwave I could use in the breakfast room. The shower was nice.
Generally it was very clean but there one was towel for make-up that had hair in it- this could be because of the soft material that it didn't come out in the washing machine. Other towels were clean. The pillows were kind of big. Biggest complaint is that the bathroom door squeaked very loudly and I think that would be pretty easy for a handy person to fix but the staff person just said oh lots of doors are creaky. The shower curtain was left outside the tub and I did not realize that at first- luckily I noticed quickly, but usually this is not something that would have been left that way. I thought it was weird that there were three bottles of wine in the refrigerator and two more on top that you could pay to open as I don't drink but I suppose this is for romantic couples. There was also a duraflame you could light in the fireplace. This also seemed completely not necessary, and possibly a firehazard if people are doing that. But these amenities are easy to ignore, I just wished I was not paying for them. There was a strong- very strong- smell of possibly lavendar in the the place that I found overwhelming and not pleasant when it was so strong- but it was not in my room- just the hallway.

It was a quaint inn on the Main road in a good location. The room was spacious and cozy with a fireplace.
I wish there was an elevator to bring the luggage up to the 2nd Floor.

Super cute place for a quick getaway. The restaurant next door was also delicious.
Nothing really

Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. My son and his girlfriend both ordered the eshepard-s pie. It had chunks of meat in a soupy gravy under the mashed potatoes. TERRIBLE
I can't remember what I ordered, but it was fair
My mom, who eats very little, had the appetizer crab cake which she enjoyed
The best thing was the service and the dessert. We shared the large cookie and the strawberry Cheesecake
The chef needs to up his game.
The place is lovely; the bar seemed to draw a large, well dressed crowd, but to make the place a true success the food needs to be much better.

Small, quiet hotel with excellent restaurant attached. Everything in a reasonable price. Large parking lot accomodating easily all guests.

We have stayed at the Bond a number of times over the past 5 years and like it very much but we're a bit surprised at the rates this time. Apparently it wasn't just us since my husband heard others mentioning it as well.
On a up note, dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

Our room was very cozy and clean. It was quiet and comfortable. The room has everything you’d need including a closet with shelving, a fridge/freezer combo and a small table with 2 chairs for in-room meals. The sunroom off to the side is attached to an outdoor deck with rocking chairs. There were fruit, muffins, sliced bread, English muffins, Keurig with pods and milk available 24/7 in the sunroom. We checked in through the restaurant since we arrived at 8pm, staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Conveniently located, I loved this quaint and "picture-perfect" small inn! The room was well-appointed and everything was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and flexible. It was so quiet and peaceful, yet close to things.
I can't think of anything we didn't like.

Eliza was very pleasant and helpful! The rooms were very clean. Convenient location.
A larger quantity of breakfast items, such as orange juice, needs to be stocked to match the number of guests.
