Location was very friendly

One bed was awfully squeaky.
The stairs were quite dark, narrow and a bit scary for walking up. I guess that’s city life

Nice big apartment in Brooklyn for affordable price.
Everything was good.

Big apartment
Dirty, old, uncomfortable beds, no closets, dust...
3.5
There were ants in the apartment and most of the lights did not have bulbs in them so it was very dark. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Mattresses were very uncomfortable.

the price is cheap.
1. The room is not clean; I can see dust on the sofa.
2. The listing claimed that parking was available, but the owner lied about it. There is no designated parking space, and she pointed out a spot on the street where I received a parking ticket, resulting in a fine of over 100 dollars.
3. There is no lock that customers can use to secure the room from the inside. When I turn the handle, the door opens, and I have no idea if the room is locked from the outside.
4. The description of this place mentioned that it has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. However, one of the bathrooms is broken, and one of the rooms is filled with trash.
5. The building has three levels, and I can hear people talking from the floor above.
6. We were charged a significant amount for cleaning, but we were asked to take out the trash ourselves.
7. The owner lied to us. She claimed that since we couldn't check out by 11 am, we had to take the trash outside ourselves because she wouldn't be home. However, we discovered that she actually lived on the first floor.

it was very clean and cozy. no one bothered us and it was a nice set up
both rooms were nicely decorated and came with towels and extra blankets if it got too cold.

Very comfy and good area for a big group.
One of the bedrooms share 2 couple beds and 1 single bed which makes uncomfortable because if on person wakes up all the rest will wake up immediately with the noise. additionally the bathroom is no accessible if the single bed in assembled, it stays in front of the bathroom door. besides, the floor makes loud noises when you walk and this wakes up everyone else too. atop of there, to go to Manhattan, it is about one and a half hour or more, take that into consideration.

A good location about a 15 min walk to the underground. The area felt safe and was generally quiet. There was plenty of space in the apartment 3 good sized bedrooms all double and one small off shoot room for a child or single person. There were 2 bathrooms both had showers and the water was hot. There was a good sized dining table and a decent living room space with a TV for relaxing in. The apartment was one of a number in a brown stone house. This was the top floor one we liked that. There was small problem in the flat and the owners sorted this out very quickly credit to them.
The kitchen worked well the cooker was good and the microwave and coffee machine were all in good working order as was the fridge.
There was pretty good heating even when it was-23 but keep it on don't turn it off because you get too warm as it took a while to warm back up again.
The outer door locked however the actual house front door did not lock and the upstairs door lock was only a latch lock which would not matter as the door to the side of the internal front door opened with just a push. I feel this needs to be addressed for safety.
The apartment is a good size especially for the price in New York area. I would just say it needs a little bit of an update in some areas and a refresh and maybe a declutter to appeal more to the family market.
The only other area of concern were some of the switches and wires could they be sorted as electrics showing should not be allowed anywhere especially if there are small fingers.
In the kitchen could someone look at the cabinets as a couple were looking tired and were in need of a little TLC. Infact if I had one thing to say give the place a bit of love and it could be an amazing place to stay.

The beds were quite comfortable and the apartment was spacious. Good location. Nice and quiet. I've stayed in a lot noise places in NYC.
There could have been more facilities eg dish drying cloths, a kettle. In one of the bedrooms the curtains needed a way to be held back to let light in.

The low price is the only reason to select this place, the position is not too bad to visit Manhattan
If you pay less, you get less... we were visited by a mouse in the apartment overnight, don't leave any food outside the fridge! Beds are awful to rest

It smelled like cat litter. Sheets was thrown over dirty, stained chairs. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Raggedy blinds were hung up at the window. Couldn't watch TV because the batteries were dead. I informed the renter about the dead batteries and never received batteries. Communication is extremely poor. When i call or text no answer. I only received a response after i went to Booking.com messages. The beds were real squeaky. Every time you move the bed made noise. No air conditioning in the rooms. The windows were opened to help cool the rooms. I am disappointed for what i paid for vs what i got!! I would never recommend anyone to stay here. It's a rip off and false advertising.

it’s not too convenient to get easily to where we planned to visit.
it’s clean, well organized and equipped with mostly everything we needed to cook and eat. the price was reasonable somehow.

I liked everything about it the apartment was clean and nice

I like the location and the convenience. The house is a period which is lovely and fits in the community
The house is under construction and should have not be rented at full price. Information needs to be given that in order to access the small bedroom you must go through the main bedroom
