AMAZING place to Stay.....Highly recommended.

Out of 10, I would score Juneberry lodge a 20! This is an amazing place to stay. The location is quiet and private and close to everything that Homer has to offer. The best part of this accommodation are the hosts. Marcia and Mannfried are amaaaaazing. Marcia is so accommodating, even coming out to greet us. Marcia was very helpful and knowledgable regarding what to do in and around Homer and Mannfried is an amazing chef, even catering for my dietary requirements. One of the best gluten free breakfasts I have ever had. Would defiantly recommend and hope one day to return to this amazing land of Alaska.........Thank you so much Marcia and Mannfried!

Fabulous stay

The home, the hosts, the breakfast, the company, the location, the garden We were extremely lucky to have two other lovely funny couples to share laughs with over breakfast, with the hosts joining in

The host made some amazing crepes for breakfast. She was also very helpful detailing local restaurants, water taxis, excursions and laundromats. Our bedroom and bathroom were super clean.

I cannot recommend Juneberry Lodge high enough.

We ended up staying 4 nights instead of 2 and are so glad that we did. Marcia & Mannfried were exceptional hosts and the Juneberry Lodge is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Marcia had exceptional recommendations of things to do in the area -- and we did them all! Mannfried made WONDERFUL breakfasts that were presented beautifully on their outdoor deck. We met people from Israel, Germany & Switzerland who were staying there too. This was our favorite place we stayed on our entire 2-1/2 week trip in Alaska.

There truly wasn't anything about our stay that we didn't like.

The best B and B experience EVER!

Everything! The lodge is like walking into the ideal bed and breakfast. The proprietors are so kind and so engaged and so lovely to talk to. Breakfast was over the top amazing and they served big portions. The coffee and tea were great. The bedroom and bathroom SO CLEAN AND SO COMFORTABLE! Its not easy getting a room here! Book as soon as you can!

Wonderful quiet guest house on hillside in Homer.

Beautiful view of mountains and glacier from bedroom window. Great breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast with local jellies, bacon, juice. Small refrigerator available in communal seating area. Excellent wi-fi, rare for many areas in AK. Helpful suggestions for restaurants, local sites, other attractions. Charming husband and wife hosts.

Excellent breakfast. Very warm and nice hosts of this small lodge with just a few rooms create a familial atmosphere.

View out of our room was restricted, but absolutely ok, if you use the room only for sleeping.

A highlight for sure on our trip to Alaska.

Our hosts were exceptional, authentically friendly, kind and generous. The views and grounds were magnificent. They were so helpful planning our stay in Homer and our adventures in the area. I would definitely stay at Juneberry Inn again and recommend to our friends and families.

Perfect!

The view is fantastic. Enjoy eating a nice breakfast in the dining area on the second floor. It seems that you come back to your hometown and stayed with your grandparents! It's the best place of my 10 different places on this trip.

Beautiful Log Cabin

Beautiful log cabin with alot of Alaskan artifacts. Good location, beautiful views. Very accommodating. Made me a special breakfast because I don't like scrambled eggs. Hot breakfast was very good. Pointed out things to do. Very clean. Friendly owners.

Our private bath was across from our room. Would have preferred if it was attached/in our room.

Juneberry provided very welcome comforts of home after we had been out camping for a few nights. a lovey breakfast, good

both the surrounds and the hosts were welcoming. juneberry is lovely and relaxed, positioned up on a hill with stunning views to the mountains beyond.

Best stay during our entire trip!!!

Hosts were welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Home was beautiful, well kept and clean. A special touch was the many Alaska-themed books they had available for their visitors.

View is spectacular. Hosts are delighted, welcoming and focused on comfort and safety due to Covid-19. Helpful suggestions for things to do, places to see. Common area for rest and relaxation is homey. House is lovely log overlooking Kachemak Bay.

Marcia and Mannfried are super friendly. The breakfast was very delicious. The view from the house is spectacular so that I could see the ocean and glaciers.

It would be wonderful if the room has a small table for computer work or drinks.

An amazing experience

Everything! The entire lodge and the view are stunning. Stephanie and Marcia are two incredible host. The cuisine of Stephanie was incredible. Just two nights there, but really amazing!

It was Clean, comfortable, quite, amazing views of the bay with wonderful hosts. Great healthy breakfast as well.

Awesome hosts and facilities and location!

The hosts, Marcia and Mannfried were wonderful hosts. Very friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable and restful. The breakfasts were fantastic and the emphasis was on "B" for breakfast; don't see the hearty breakfasts at B & B's much anymore, at least not me. Facilities were immaculate and view impeccable. Would recommend in a second.

The bed mattress texture wasn't quite to my liking, but this is just a personal thing and no fault of the hosts.

Juneberry is a gem in Homer. It really made our Alaska trip special having stayed at this incredible bed and breakfast. Marcia, our hostesss, has done a really incredible job with making our stay as enjoyable as possible. I wished we didn't have such a short stay so that we could enjoy the property a little more.
