Location was in the trees a little ways out of town. They are designing a very good looking bar area. Want to come back to enjoy it. And a great spa.

Staff was very friendly and accomodating.
Rooms need some TLC, but the resort is under new management and they are working on updating everything now.

The Management couple. Dave ans Christy are a great team and made me feel better than at home. The Beds were very comfortable. My first trip to Duck Creek Village
New ownership/New Management so renovating a bit but the atmosphere and attitude of staff was incredible. One star deducted for the lobby not being stocked with local tracts yet. But ask to meet Jax! Jax is the official greeter!

It was so amazing. The location was exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were nice and I loved the fact that I could park my vehicle so I could see it. I had one issue but it had nothing to do with the property. I started getting elevation sickness. It was not good I woke up around 1am and almost had to call paramedics. We left in the middle of the night and by the time we got to st. George I was better. Again we were so disappointed that we couldn't stay and it was so beautiful there.

The bed. We should have a queen it was a full bed. It made noice sitting down, turning sleeping it woke you up and the floor going to the bathroom made a noice like a gun shot.

There was a huge shower in the room compared to the tub in the suite, their was direct TV, The fridge and microwave was nice to have, Beautiful location, super friendly workers. Suite had a little fire place and did have that cabin feel to it although dusting the blinds and the couch might be something to look into.
The cafe was closed but that is not the fault of the place. I stayed in the suite the first 2 nights then the regular room the last 2. It was hard to get someone at the front desk as there were a couple of times I couldn't find anyone or get anyone to answer the phone. The cost of the suite was a bit steep for the quality of the room. The suite bed was way too short for me, and the room was blistering hot when I got into it and this made the bed really hot, had to put the box fan into the window and blast it until 4am when it finally cooled off, needless to say I got no sleep that night. There was no functional closet upstairs and I had to move the dresser toward the bed so I had somewhere to put my CPAP as there was no night stands. The tub looked like it had been dropped too many times, so for the cost I wasn't impressed. The other room the bed reminded me of the old Army beds in that I sunk down and it was really uncomfortable, so no sleep for the two days, the room had folding chairs and no other chair, but it had a huge shower but no light once the curtain is closed. It would have been nice to have a list of what satellite stations are available then having to go through 500 some channels to find a channel. Also when I was going to try to sleep in a damn woodpecker decided to peck on the outside of the room in the morning waking me and the neighbors up, but that is not the fault of the property just nature being nature. Last is the constant back and forth of 4 runners racing up and down the road from early morning to late at night. Here is the short and sweet of it all, just because your in a beautiful area does not warrant a more expensive room if the items and the structure of the room seem antiquated and short changing.
There was also outlets not covered and and like the closets in the suite there just seemed like there was uncompleted construction, but having light and outlet boxes with wires in them has to be illegal.

We loved being in the forest. The resort was
easy to find and close
enough to food and necessities.
It was a little dated. But this did not
interfere with our enjoyment.

Beautiful location, you are truly in the woods. The restaurant is an excellent perk and the pool, hot tub and game room were all nicely maintained.

the location was beautiful, the room was small but had everything I needed, and it was clean and nicely upgraded
my shower had a drip that kept me up the first night until I managed to put a cup under it to muffle the sound. it was a bit hard to get a hold of the front desk.
