Breakfast was amazing as were the proprietors. The penthouse apartment was spacious, comfortable, and filled with interesting pieces. Walking distance to downtown eateries.

Unique won’t fine another accommodation with historic value and a most varied in talent couple who really know what there doing when it comes to creating a pleasant lodging, I personally am sure these two would’ve ran a hell of a hotel when America was of good morale

Breakfast was delicious and the table setting was beautiful.
Mattress was a bit on the firm side.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms were decorated so lovely and everything looked of the time that it was created.
But not only where the rooms fabulous Sophia and Jason, who owned the B&B were so courteous and very great communicators at helping me check in late at night.
And in the morning, Jason even made me a very delicious egg pastry for my early travels.
I really enjoyed my stay and I will make sure to recommend this place to friends and family and definitely I would stay here again if I’m in the area the location is great as well.

Great location, quiet area, easy check-in, breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, and having a kitchen sink and table in the apartment was an added bonus. The owner was very nice, and quickly fixed an issue with the bill.
The stair to the third floor apartment is very narrow and steep, so it was a bit of an adventure getting our two suitcases up there and then down.

It was precious and unpretentious. The room was very comfy with lots of cute details, the shared bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was incredibly yummy and you could visit with the other guests or keep to yourself. They had games and puzzles and popcorn! It was just like B and Bs as I remember them 25 years ago. And the couple running it couldn’t have been nicer!
Not a thing!

I’m not a usual BnB type of person. Passing through on a long road trip I booked about 10min before showing up late in the evening. The hosts were extremely friendly when I called and walked me through getting setup for my room easily. After a long day of driving with my dog cooped up in the car this was exactly what I needed. They had a nice yard with string lights that my dog could stretch her legs and play a little fetch while I relaxed and ate my dinner. The air conditioning in the room was wonderfully cold and blasting. The bed was comfortable and I had a good, quiet nights rest before another long day of driving. I booked the Queen room with the en suite shower. It was amazingly hot and pounding water pressure.
Overall BnB aesthetics are a little overwhelming for me but I would absolutely come back again. Its so much nicer if traveling with a dog to have a nice yard they compared to the usual chain hotel with the sad patch of grass. Also the hosts were really friendly and down to earth type people.
Since I arrived at night, I was a little unsure about the surrounding area since it was so so quiet but parked my car that had several weeks of gear from my road trip in the vehicle and had no issues. I would’ve preferred breakfast to be a little earlier but it was worth hanging around for before hitting the road.

Even with a shared bathroom down the hall, I enjoyed this home style hotel very much. Will definitely stay here again on my way from Florida to Colorado.
Everything was wonderful.

Nothing... the location was great.

Super cute rooms, kind staff. She has some things out for us for breakfast since we had to miss the meal. Everything you could need! The country room has a little kitchen in it and a bathroom in room which is lovely. Short walk to bars and restaurants. Will stay here again on future work trips.
Wish breakfast was earlier but that's just a personal preference.

Beautiful B&B, lots of charming touches. Super clean. Helpful, accommodating hosts . Delicious, homemade breakfast. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We appreciated that in a town where there were not many options for where to grab dinner, the host contacted us the morning of our reservation and offered to move us upstairs into a room with a kitchen at no additional charge. That ended up meaning that we could prepare our own dinner, and made our stay much more pleasant than it otherwise would have been.
This is a cute old house that has had some rather unfortunate updates in the past and could stand some re-updating. Also, our room for 3 people had one air-conditioning window unit on the far end of the long linear space from the double bed- it was fairly warm. Additionally, the doorknob seemed about to come off and was worrisome and the breakfast seemed to have been kept on a warmer for a bit, even though we came downstairs at the earliest time listed for breakfast.

Very nice classic Victorian home, fabulous location close to old downtown

The willingness to accept pets.
There were no instructions on how to find “the penthouse” and no owner or backup person around.
When I called the owner’s posted phone number, she didn’t answer.
The “backup “ person didn’t seem to know what was going on.
When I found the penthouse, it was 95 degrees up there. No one had thought to open a window or turn it on in anticipation of the guest arrival.

The home is beautiful. The breakfast was outstanding. Very friendly and helpful hosts.
The bed is a little bit small for someone 6ft 3in.

Poor Breakfast compared to previous year. Served in an impersonal way. 7;45-8:30 not early/long enough window for meal.
Absentee owner a big negative. We were not expecting to have a shared bathroom down the hall.

My first experience should be like this staying in a B&B. It was incredible. It was a Victorian home with all original furnishings, and at least five different bedrooms with people that you could socialize with in the common area downstairs. There was coffee and tea and all the amenities that you could possibly need while traveling… With the exception of laundry and kitchen. If you look for really Qwaint places to stay, this is the one..
There was absolutely nothing to dislike… Except mosquitoes, but that has nothing to do with property.

Location was great. Very near the downtown area, where we like to eat and drink.
Very fun decor. Loved the old record player and the stack of records of all types for us to enjoy. I even used the piano for practicing!
The roll-away bed in the downstairs bedroom was a bit dangerous. I badly stubbed my toe on it while getting to the bathroom.
Wish I could have used the electric skateboards, but they were locked up and no staff available for us to ask.

This is my 3rd stay. I personally prefer the Victorian room with a shower, shared bathroom. The hosts always make me feel welcome. I enjoy meeting others staying there as well. Tasty breakfast.

It was very cute and comfortable. We were able to walk to downtown Raton. The hosts were super friendly. Breakfast was delicious. We met some other wonderful travelers.
There was a nice porch to sit on and enjoy the nice weather.
The room was comfortable and spacious. The shower had good pressure.
I wish our room locked while we were out exploring, just for an added feeling of security since it seemed to be full and people were exploring the house.

The recently new owners of this B&B were very nice and we enjoyed the visit. We enjoyed our room which was decorated very nice along with the entire home. The owners fixed us a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed talking with them during our meal. On our entire 2 week vacation, this was our favorite place to stay. Highly recommend this B&B!
Everything was wonderful!

The house was beautiful it took me back in time. I loved it a little much for a couple and two dogs but cozy and quaint.
The stairs are a killer on syatica. But about the only draw back.

The host was very nice and made a wonderful breakfast for us! She knew the history of the house and shared that with us too.
We stayed the night because we had an event to attend in Raton. There were no full size mirrors anywhere. That would have been very helpful

Location, fringe niceties ie hot tea, snacks, & breakfast!! The owners were super nice!!
A Queen bed would be nicer/bigger for 2 adults, & maybe put an oval rod with shower curtain around the cool unique tub in shared bathroom!! I think it would be a lil more appealing & quicker for guest to take a shower, & also not make such a wet mess on the floor!!
