Extremely expensive and they don't give you the basic services as making the bed every day and getting you clean tow

Not enough parking They don't make bed every day unless requested Even when they make the bed they put very little attention to it. They don't even stretch the sheets or fluff the pillows Attendants at front desk give you an attitude when you request to get bed made and towels changed

The location was great. It was conveniently located near the university. Also, some of the staff were very kind and aimed to be as accommodating as possible. That included the general manager.

There was a young man working at the front desk when I arrived. He said it was his first day. He was kind, but he was struggling to check us in. The young lady working with him wasn’t very helpful. Later, I tried to use the hairdryer in my room, but it was broken. I asked her if she could replace it. She told me that housekeeping would have to do it, but I would have to wait until morning. It was about 8:00pm. I had an important appointment in the morning, so I wanted to get my hair dry. I found it frustrating that she wasn’t able to find a different dryer in a vacant room, especially given the price I paid for the room. The young man searched for another dryer all over the hotel and wasn’t sure which key to use for each closet. I felt sorry for him because he was trying to help me, but didn’t know how. Later, he was able to get one from a vacant room and brought it to me. Yet, this was much later in the night. This young lady had a negative attitude with a few other guests.

Room, pool and breakfast were good.

The TV only had one channel available, an ESPN Channel due to "technical problems". A few people in the elevator stated that they had stayed at the same hotel location before, and there was the same problem with the TV channels per the staff. There should have been some compensation offered for the inconvenience the whole weekend.

Stay was OK but not worth the price.

Breakfast was good with many options. Friendly staff.

Property could use a spruce up. Carpets in halls and rooms had prominent stains, some damaged wallpaper in hallway. The staff must not pay too much attention to routine maintenance. One bulb in room chandelier was out, phone handset needed a new battery, bedding (mattress/pillows) on the verge of uncomfortable, bathroom towels getting a bit thin. Had trouble getting into the pool area, lock did not work with room key. A power surge the day before we arrived caused the cable to go out, so no TV during our 3 day stay. Parking fee at hotel was a bit on the higher end, especially for the room rate. Was looking forward to for a bit more upscale experience since this was a getaway weekend. Could have stayed elsewhere for less with a similar level facility. Location was good near IU campus.

The room was great and the staff was super friendly! Very central location and a great place to walk around.

We booked through booking.com and our reservation didn’t transfer! I would recommend this hotel but do NOT book through booking.com(at least for this hotel).

would have been fine except for the payment method debacle

room was clean. floor was quiet. parking was easy and site was close to our destination.

staff at the front desk overly friendly and felt like we were a nuisance to them both checking in and out. breakfast was tolerable at best - ran out of some things by 7:45am. my main complaint is that I couldn’t use my Hyatt gift card to pay for the room at a Hyatt Place. I was told I should have called the property directly. but, when I did that, the staff said I should contact Hyatt corporate directly. it’s 2023 and none of these web sites (including Bookings.com) allows you to enter a gift card. wow. just sad.

The location was very convenient for walking around and accessing restaurants.

We asked for cleaning service and the attendant knocked on our door and we asked him to come back in 10 minutes since we were getting ready to leave unfortunately no one returned to clean our room

A disaster.

Absolutely nothing because they didn’t have a room for us.

Even though we had a confirmation, they said they didn’t have a reservation for us. No room for us. They blamed bookings for not telling them about the reservation. We had to go to a dive hotel. We drove six hours only to be told no reservation. Unbelievable. How do you stay in business?

Happy with hotel and amenities not happy with the hassle I now have

Big issue with my Booking.com reservation not having gone through to the hotel. They had no reservation for me in their system. So I had to essentially be treated as a walk-in. Hotel told me this happens all the time with booking.com. So I Called Booking.com and the onus is now on me to provide the receipt for the one night stay so that I am not charged twice. Which I can do but then I am asking myself what is the point of using booking.com them surely the onus is booking.com to resolve this directly with the hotel ?.

good locations

we arrived late and couldn’t get anyone to come to the door to let us check in. I had to keep calling the front desk and someone finally let me in, however when he did he was very rude and gave me the wrong room. I booked a Queen suite with two Queen beds, but we were given a King suite instead. We didn’t know this until we got to the room at the back of this long hotel that you park and come in a rear elevator. I had to let my wife and son sleep on the bed and I had to sleep on the couch that had no linens whatsoever. worst experience I’ve had at hotel in a long time, if not ever!!!

Underwhelming for a hotel that says it's the best in Bloomington

The location and parking are fantastic. Pool and workout areas were nice.

The hotel is worn and not very clean. The staff were polite but not helpful. The bar and restaurant were empty with no customers or staff to be found. People were yelling and cursing in the room down the hallway. A small dog barked incessantly into the night. The hotel has a confusing layout and the staff gave no directions or assistance.
