Filthy rooms and uncooperative staff.

There were only 5 cockroaches in my shower rather than 6. The location is convenient for Occidental College.

Upon arrival the motel demanded an extra $20 (cash only) even though I booked and paid through booking.com. Room was filthy, graffiti and carvings in bed, holes in sheets, cockroaches everywhere. Also note that booking.com did nothing to resolve the extra $20 charge.

Awful. Terrible. Don’t waste your time booking here.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. It was filthy, it reeked of cigarette smoke and there were so many seedy characters milling about in front of the check in location. It was more like an apartment building than a hotel.

I disliked everything about my experience.

Left as early as possible because of the shower,

What breakfast Bed was clean and comfortable

There was no hot water in the shower, and when I told the management about it, he just said that he didn't know. I kept the shower running for 20 to 30 minutes, and the water never got hot, When I went to check out at 7 am, at the front desk, no one came to the counter for at least a half hour, even after I rand their counter buzzer, and used my cell phone to try to call the hotel, I got no response. Then when some other guest came in, about 40 minutes later, the front desk person finally came to the counter. They have fundamental problems there, and they don't care to try to fix them, the room was clean and comfortable, there were no microwaves in the room, and though they said that they only had double beds, there was only one bed. I had to go to the gym to take a shower, because the water in the bath was ice cold, even after several minutes

Location was close and convenient to the surrounding area

There were multiple cigarette burns on the bedspread, large corner of the toilet tank was broken, dirty TV remote, several baby cockroaches in the bathtub, door to bathroom did not latch so unable to close and pictures posted online did not match the room we stayed in (Room 105).

At least I could sleep.

The location is terrific, great restaurants and an interesting street. The air conditioning worked, which was must during the tail end of the heat wave!

The cockroaches and disrepair of the room convinced me to search for bedbugs (I didn't find any). The clerk was not friendly and charged me $10 more than the price at which I booked with no explanation.

I never had an issue before this last stay and will still go back nonetheless.

it’s in a perfect location. the staff is great. the set up of rooms is good.

this last stay was awful. the room reeked of cat urine. it was so strong of an odor I ended having to get another motel that same night at a different location because I couldn’t stomach to stench. did everything I could to mask it but failed miserably. it was beyond intoxicating.

Do not stay there. It’s not worth the cheap price

There was no breakfast. It was in a very sketchy location and everything was gross

Everything! The room was very gross. There was dust everywhere and paint spatters everywhere on the floor. The mini fridge was not clean.

Horrible Horrible Horrible!

The only thing I liked was the price but honestly I would never stay here again even if it were free unless I was homeless.

Everything. No TV channels, poorly working AC, graffiti inside room on furniture, cockroaches, unclean floor, towel with 2 inch hole in it, shower that took forever to warm up, old broken AC left outside our window, adjacent room looked liked it was hosed out with detritus left outside room. This place is a nightmare.

The room and location is very authentic. The owner not friendly

The large room and the great floor plan. The view from 3rd floor room is good. Loved the location.

Owner does not want to supply a clothes rack. I'm forced to use the shower curtain rod. It's a place for in and out, not for business minded travelers.

Even though I booked and paid online, I was still forced to pay in person. Which means I was charged twice for the same night. It was late and I had nowhere else to go. Absolutely ridiculous.

The bed was nice and warm.

Convenient and the gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant.

It was a bit old and run down, just like me. So who am I to judge?
