Old and tired. Advertising breakfast boarders on a joke. Coffee, and a toaster with no seating area. Late night foot traffic on the property noisy guests rattling the stairwell and knocking on doors.

Comfortable stay

Manager of the hotel was very kind and helpful. Room big and clean, has microwave and fridge, just across the road with shops and Safeway. I will come back again

A decent, but older hotel in a great location.

Great location just at the crossroads between San Francisco and central California. Across from convenient shopping, but very quiet at night.

It’s old and feels a bit rundown. WiFi and TV connections bad.

Air in rooms is not intuitive. Pillows totally flat. Wall paper marked up. Too much noise in 1 st level.

Good value and excellent location.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked a little too well as the room was freezing. Breakfast was continental so nothing special but nice to have. Good location right off of the freeway and on a major road. Lots of good restaurants just down Castro Valley.

Furnishings were a little dated and the shower had a regular shower curtain rather than one that looped out so it didn't touch you while you were in the shower.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and spacious room . Comfortable bed.

There was no dining available due to it being Christmas Eve. People still need to eat who are traveling, no matter the holiday.

Great base to explore san fran, Lovely stay!

Nice owner and staff, comfortable beds and clean place. We had an amazing view onto the bay, loved our stay here! You can take the BART into the city, cheap, fast, practical.
