Incredible stay at Cottage Lake B&B with warm hosts and breathtaking views

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cottage Lake Bed and Breakfast in Woodinville, Washington, hosted by the lovely couple Beth and John, and their adorable dog Sadie. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by their warm hospitality and friendly nature. The cottage itself was a dream come true - cozy, charming, and beautifully decorated with every detail carefully considered. The room was immaculate, with a plush bed, soft linens, and fluffy towels. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast that Beth and John prepared each morning, and brought out to me so I could eat lakeside. What really made my stay special was the beautiful surroundings. The B&B is situated by the serene Cottage Lake and surrounded by lush greenery, providing the perfect spot for a peaceful retreat. The outdoor seating area and fire pit were great places to unwind and take in the stunning views. Overall, I highly recommend the Cottage Lake Bed and Breakfast. Beth and John made my stay unforgettable. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful location with exceptional hospitality and mouth-watering breakfast, this is the perfect place for you.

The only thing I wished for was another bedroom so I could come with a friend next time!

Great location in a lovely home with fantastic views.

The view from the home over the water was gorgeous. The property is very well managed and kept by John and Beth and they are the most gracious hosts.

The proximity to the hosts quarters made any late night noise just disrespectful to the hosts which may have kept the evening PG.

I lovely spot. The view was exceptional!

The presentation of the place was so quaint! Loved how the breakfast was laid out by the host’s assistant

It would have been useful to have a mini fridge where we were staying. There was a fridge upstairs, but that was not accessible to us and we had to send the host’s assistant a couple of times to get ice etc.

When you want to stay in Woodinville but not in a motel, this is the obvious choice!

Cottage Lake B&B is an idyll of the likes you wished to have every day. We booked our stay at the very last minute (snagging a rare late, one-night cancellation), and I cannot overstate the satisfaction of our serendipity. This is a beautiful property, serenely located and lovingly tended to, with care and creativity that impressed us and will likely meet or surpass the expectations of any prospective guests. The setting is sublime: an eastward view of historic Cottage Lake and its gentle shores and water. The hospitality is welcoming to the point of friendship, and the accommodations are commodious and home-friendly. That the hosts are so welcoming (and musically talented) made our stay all the more special and meaningful. We look forward to staying again.

(We didn't acknowledge the cleaning fee or resort fee when booking. So don't be surprised by this, as we were. But that said: Totally worth it!)

It was a nice place to stay, just be prepared for a rustic experience.

The hosts were great and left a nice breakfast. The view from the room of the lake was fantastic and the hot tub was clean and ready for use, although I didn't use it. There is also a nice fire pit down by the lake with everything you need to have a relaxing time. Duraflame logs though. There is also a nice desk if you need to conduct work during your stay.

The ceilings are a bit low and there aren't any blinds on the back windows. You can hear the hosts upstairs as this place is in the basement of their house. There appears to be a hanging curtain that separates the living space you're in with the living space of the homeowners. However, you still have privacy because there is a second door that you can close between the living room and the bathroom area. I wish there was a refrigerator, but I might have missed that part during my booking.

Peaceful Cottage Lake perfection

Absolutely everything! This place was incredible! We came out here for a weekend getaway and anniversary and the second we stepped out of the car, a sense of peace fell over us. The hosts are an amazing couple that brought us so much joyful conversation, many laughs, and great recommendations for things to do nearby. Honestly, we spent most of our time just enjoying the peace and serenity on the property. Their view of the lake is awesome and their home and garden is just beautiful. So much character and so much positive energy to be shared here. We are going again this summer and making an annual trip of it as well. It was a totally relaxing and perfect weekend and it was worth every penny. We're looking forward to many more stays here.

Great getaway if you want to be near Woodinville or Duvall

Great location on a lake with a gazebo and fire pit

A bit outdated in terms of decor, books were disorganized, and no access (even tourist traffic) to the tree house made the trip a little less eventful.
